Crepes place in souq is closed!
It was a nice place to have a cheap crepe and a soft drink... why they close?

The port at the end of the corniche was a nice place for dinner and I found that it was demolished...

What is happening in this country?
At the end of the day there will be only fancy places? Not truly ones?

I was in The Pearl last weekend and it was a plastic place, everything looks artificial...

I heard due to orders of the health authority. Also Ras Al Nassa restaurant complex demolished recently. We will all have to cook for ourselves now.

Ah yes, traditional crepes in the traditional souq. Good riddance - hope they replace it with a shwarma shop

Sad,

it looks like the qataris are ashamed of their past.

eu61 ....So true....Fancy & artificial.....

And the Landscaping here is so "Copy Paste".....although they have managed to put in a lot of greenery....

Finally on the Al Khor side they put in some different trees other than the Date-Palm....I thought thats the only tree that could grow in Qatar.
