Two Qataris killed in road accident

R.I.P
Two Qatari men in their twenties were killed and two other Asian expatriates injured in a road accident yesterday morning in the Al Sayliyah area. The Qataris were driving a car with Kuwaiti number plates. Their vehicle apparently collided with another car coming from the opposite direction. The Qataris died on the spot as a result of severe injuries. The two injured in the other car were transferred to the hospital for treatment.

There's plenty of laws regulating driving here and roads of Qatar have a high concentration of speed cameras, but that doesn't stop the idiots who drive carelessly from breaking the laws here. Public awareness to drive safely isn't promoted here. More should be done to promote this.
Dangerous driving is not accidental. It's a choice in which one decides the risk is worth the reward. In this case the estimation was wrong. My heart goes out to the families, who are the real victims of this action.
RIP... :-(
road safety i have read on numerous occasions how bad the roads are in Qatar. I still cannot believe that things are not being done. your not allowed to kiss your wife in public but you are allowed to drive at high speeds, not indicate at roundabouts, go straight onto a roundabout, stop in the inside lane to change a tyre, allowed to drive right up to another vehicle and flash your lights, are allowed to drive without seat belts, are allowed to drive with a child on your lap hmmm. you are allowed to be in pile ups, are allowed to kill another human being through reckless abandon.
LP, Blame the Kuwaiti Cars
one have to come when itz onez turn, no matter whereever one is
As long as it is called "accident", it seems that it wasn't their fault. Something happened to them. I would call it suicide. It's the way they drive that ends up in a disaster. They, and nobody else is responsible! Or do we blame it on the roads? Or maybe the sun?
Sorry to hear it!
R I P !
They died in Oman right?
May their soul rest in peace.Reckless driving in Qatar is an big issue.no line displine at all.
Yet another accident...yet another two deaths. For those of us who don't know them, these youngsters will simply be a part of a rather grisly statistic, but imagine the pain and sadness their loved ones must feel now...tragic!
And yet those who drive recklessly and daredevil like will hardly pause to take a lesson from this all. Hence the numbers just keep increasing!
It's the life, our turn will come soon or late. Just be ready.
RIP!!!
Am reading about Oman accidents daily, even yesterday there were 8 deaths.

That's an amazingly high number :O(
as Freddie Roach says: "SPEED KILLS"
Why cant these poeple drive safely...the youth should be given more awareness on safe driving..May thier soul RIP!
