Yes wish_well, my research also says hilton will be a good choice, thanks for that.
Dear Brother...firstly congrats to you in advance for the holy trip of umrah. I believe this is the most appropraite time to visit there. The weather will be cool and easy to perform obligations. Regarding hotels in makkah you can stay in hotel Hilton hotel ( which is bit costlier) located right opposite to the King Fahad Gate, nearest landmark is KFC. or else you can stay in a hotel Dar As Salam hotel which is 5 min walkable distance from the Haram Shariff.
Regarding Hotels in madina you can go out there search by yourself because this is not a peak time,it will be easier for you. Moreover this is the begining of the season you will find it little cheaper only.

I also been there before 3 years in the same hotels..
and you are right the rooms which are facing towards the Haram are very nice...
by the way I have those nice picture, if syusufa wants to see such a nice view from the top...
Just go to Makah.. and head towards the Dar al Tawheed Intercontinental... at the same time you can do the reservation.. or u can do also thru an travel agent.. its directly opposite to the Kaaba... very nice view from upper floors... I think one room is 600 or 700 SR and enough for a couple..including the breakfast...
In Madina, you can also stay in Intercontinental but if you stay in Movenpick, then it will also b better.. both are directly facing to Masjide Nabwi...price per room are lower than the Makkah hotel..
becaouse if you visit to such places, then what is the point to save the money...you need best for the best...
First Arrange the visa from Hamla( Ex Al-Hammadi 44442411 ) if you are looking for 3 star and 4 star hotel then go to travel agents to book for you. they can arrange the hotels for you
head to doha transport group in doha jadeed area, you will get much info, & they will arrange you for the accomodation few minutes walk from Holy Ka'ba & Nabavi Mosque, which is reliable...
