With regards to Qatar hosting a race, they can go one of two ways. Just upgrade Lusail and it will be like the Bahrain race, in the dessert, no character or atmosphere. Or they can (what I would prefer to see) splash the cash and go for a Yas Marina type circuit/arena and race weekend which is now one of the best and most liked on the calendar.
@ Brit expat, I can't agree with u more, I was offered tickets for the Bahrain f1 and I turned it down. I will b going to Malaysia , Korea and will choose another for the 2013 season....bring it on....mclaren always......heheheheh
@Ben, I tend to agree with u abt the said drivers u referring too. As for Hamilton it is a great loss and like all is saying his season looks doomed for 2013, planning ahead is their thinking. PereZ he has huge shoes to fill nd I have my doubts. Whether they upped their game or not I feel the season was interesting better than previous where 1 person or team just run away from the rest.
Well done vettel and again a consistent miss Daisey drive from Jensen button, it has been a ploy all the time where the 1 Ferrari driver has to give way for the other. Me myself a mclaren fan and it is hard to c Lewis go but hey these things happen. All the best Lewis for your new adventure with Mercedes. As for drivers to watch for their poor pathetic driving abilities are karthekayen, mg where did they find this one , in a lucky packet, grosjean I call him mr accident, Bruno senna I'm sure he thinks he can be as brilliant as his dad but has no idea, timo glock shame find another sport hahahahaha. Be scared of the following for the new season, the iceman kimmi and Perez well I am a bit nervous when it comes to him.
Many congratulations to Seb on becoming the youngest triple world champion.
For all those who think Alonso deserved it more, I'm afraid I do not agree to that. Clearly Massa has been faster of the two and he was asked time and again to slow down and make way for Alonso. Needless to say the worst was to break Massa's car seal in Austin to bump up Alonso. I feel sorry for Massa that he has to end his season on a crying note each time. I guess that's part of his contract with the Ferrari.

He will have the rite car tht I know so I will wait and c.....go mclaren
I think Perez will do well.. He's shown that he can drive fast. He just needs to learn. Mclaren with their simulators can help he do that..

Qatar is pushing ahead with a view to delivering an F1 race.
I really dio not see teh point. We have Bahrain and Abu Dhabi already.
I went to bahrain and the atmosphere was lousy. :O(
Personally cannot see Perez doing too much. Since it was announced that he would replace Hamilton he hasn't scored a single point.
As for Hamilton, think he will regret going to Mercedes and wont do as well as this year.
Red Bull were not as good as the last two years. They upped their game winning a number of races in a row which is where the title was won.
I believe the same will happen next season.
Any news on Qatar's bid to hold the pre season testing?
Karthekayen is an embarrassment to F1 - he needs to go.

Hulkenberg is going to Sauber next year. the guy to watch will be Perez , who will be driving a McLaren...
Hulkenburg got carried away yesterday and took Hamilton out, what a plonker!
i agree.. between Massa and Fonso, Fonso had a better time with this car.. Just hope that we have a more consistent performance from Ferrari..
Nico Hulkenberg will be the guy to watch out for next season, if he gets a car far better than the current Force India one...
Massa had a terrible early season. Alonso has been the most consistent with a bad car..
Many congratulations to Seb on becoming the youngest triple world champion.

Were there any Qataris on the grid?
the best race I have seen was the 1999 European GP.. Johnny Herbert won that in trying conditions!
Fonso drove a courageous race, but Vettel had the rub the green going his way, especially after he was hit in the 1st lap!
Can't wait for 2013 season to start in March!!
Felt sorry for Hamilton, guess it summed up his season!
Well done to the young German,
