I don't think it will be a problem for you to get your mother a visit visa. we were thinking of bringing over my mother-in-law and she's 80 years old. My husband was told before that they have the same system of sponsoring parents and childrens as in Dubai and Saudi Arabia. You can sponsor your parents like what we know with our friends in Saudi. He's South African and he sponsored and bring his parents over (62 & 68 years old). no problem.

Judge not! that you be not judged!

But will there be a problem to get a visit visa (not a resident visa) if they are above 60?

dear regisa there is no problem as she is only 55, only after 60 does the immigration start creating trouble.why take a qat air. visa. you can apply for a normal visit visa from immigration dept at madina khalifa

do it right - the first time!
