want to homeschool but can't...???
I am a qualified Muslim American teacher who is currently home schooling my son in the 3rd grade. Next year, I will be teaching grade 4 using the official curriculum and materials from an Accredited Elementary school in the United States. This school provides its long distance students with official transcripts and report cards. To reserve a spot and have a look at the curriculum and books please do not hesitate to contact me.

My kids did not "Home School", they went to "Cyber School" Infact this is the web site

For this particular school, you have to be residents of PA. In short, kids were at home, their learning process was structured by the state school board, and they sat the same tests that other kids in the state sat.
They did this from home with computers and internet access.
Since we were in PA, the school set up social programs for th kids with other homeschooling organizations, trips to the museum, skiing etc..
I give credit to my wife for finding the school when she did.
I am sure there are other Cyber Schools that would work out here.
If I can guide more, just ask. Both of us believe very strongly in a good school foundation.
With kids your age look into Calvert School, they are out of Baltimore and they run on-line programs upto 8th grade. Their site is http://www.calvertschool.org/

Can you give me your experience, pro and con, what it's like homeschooling your child? Any suggestion?
My husband travels every few months, from country to country, and we are tired of being apart due to the kids registerred in school. I never done homeschooling before except tutoring my kids and their friends.

Are you still around here and still homeschooling your kids? I have 2 girls, 7 and 5, what is the name of the company that you use? Are you happy with their service? Their support?
What about extra curriculum for social development such as music, gymnastic, field trip, or any other social activities that kids can joint here in Doha?
I would appreciate if you can give me more info.
Thank you so much.
Excellent alternative. First hand experience for 8 years. Kids graduated with Associates Degree with High School Diploma.
Is homeschooling legal and socially accepted in Qatar? JK
