What is the Best Bond Film and WHY?

azilana7037
By azilana7037

My early childhood exposure to movies has been the "James Bond" movies which are extremely popular and have been since the very beginning. They are full of intrigue, sex, gadgets, and money - what more could you want in a film?!

Tell us:

1. What your favorite Bond movie of all time?
2. Who do you think is the best actor (EVER) who portrayed the JAMES BOND character and why?

When answering this question, be sure to give us your reasons for your answer - it gives us a chance to debate!

Imagine Hugh Jackman on a Tuxedo...with pointed nose, hairdo and claws like Wolverine and the 9mm gun on his armpit :D he will cut bad guys in two pieces. aiwa! LOL.

The best one-Bond-movie actor ever. If I really want a real James Bond, George Lazenby captures it perfectly.

All time fav movies both Golden Eye and Tomorrow Never Dies ,because these movies matches today's technology ,it is full of action which technically correct and perfect utilization of gadgets ,stories are very suitable.A bond without gadgets is handicapped bond.

The perfect Bond is one n only Pierce Brosnan, sophosticated ,charming his unique style mindblowing.

even so brit, i still dont like him, no offense to Daniel Craig fans... there's another one they could consider, yummy Hugh, though he needs to practice British accent as he's not one... agree with onemaki, Daniel Craig lacks the sophistication of a james bond image...

HUGH JACKMAN was actually considered to play JAMES BOND after PIERCE brosnan, im not sure if he could have played better, but i like his movies though, CRAIG seems to be "heavy" and dirty, rather than posh/skilled and sophisticated agent., -which defines the JAMES Bond image., imho.

I would prefer to watch Briexpat play the role of Tattoo.

Here comes the plane!

That definitely will fit his character.

I forgot that he likes to be wrap around suckling tentacles of octopuses. LOL

Poor Tattoo.. He was played by Herve Villechaize, who was also in the Bond film - Man with the golden gun..

Sadly, old Herve blew his brains out and is on that fantasy island in the sky now..

Vimmin.. who can say what they like.. Some like the rough Daniel Craig; Others like the smooth Pierce brosnan.

The character has to do with the wishes of the Director. in the latest film, Bond has become more darker and serious... (same with Batman remember)..

Perhaps its a sign of the times..

yes daniel craig sucks.... i hope the next bond film wont be done by him.... there are plenty other guys with the james bond factor out there, please look harder....jason statham for one... at least i think he could've done better had he been the one who played james bond...

any James Bond except Daniel Craig's James Bond Films. He sucks!

** No Offense on the Religious People in the Middle East who are against about it for what i'm about to say about the movie. Just a comment and a conversation. Thanks **

About his 2nd Film, Quantum of Solace. In all James Bond and Actor who played as James Bond, he is the only one who never had kissing scene and bed scene with his leading lady. I read from the news when they were making this movie that the Girl didn't agree on having kissing scene or bed scene. How could that be? Why don't they look for another bond girl. We know how James is good in Women. :D Hehe. You might say it doesn't matter to have kissing scene or not besides Local Cinema in the Middle East will SKIP that part. Yes, but for other countries or nationalities will still like to have those scenes when watching it. Besides it's a James Bond Movie! :D

**Edit- But for all James Bond Films, i would say "Pierce Brosnan's Films as James". No offense with Sean Connery, i respect him with all his films. I have all 4 JB Films for Pierce Brosnan. Compliments of Torrent. ROFL! :D

***Edit- One more thing, Daniel Craig doesn't have appeal and charms on women. Maybe that's why he didn't have kissing scene with women this time. LOL! :D

007 movies but my favorite is "DR NO" and my best actor for James Bond is Sean Connery. He really portrayed the JB personality in his movies. i like him alot. I dont like the Craig guy,he does not even look sleek at all for a JB character

Anything with "Scene Canary" is superb.

My favourite is Goldfinger with that sexy minx , Honor Blackman as Pussy Galore. It was also the film which featured my favourite toy car - the Aston Martin DB5 with ejection seats and machinegun taillights.

The only person with taste here is Sameal.

'You Only Live Twice' hands down winner with 'Goldfinger' a close behind. Classic story, musical score and actors/actresses. Kissy Suzuki was a Japanese girl who couldnt even speak English before the film.

Filmed in Japan. Classic Connery. Best of the original Bonds films and argueably best of all time. Modern Bond films that rate - Casino Royale, View to a Kill.

Great Bond Theme, Daniel Craig Revolutionized Bond as character, The very rugged, insubordinate rogue type. Connery was the man and was great when i was a kid, but moving with the times Craig has what it takes, Quantum of Solace didnt have a great script but Craig again made it watchable. Well done Azilana :P

PIERCE BROSNAN & the GUY from CASINO ROYALE.

Both are ruggedly handsome but the latter is more ruthless in his portrayal.

CASINO ROYALE movie is where a much more humanistic Bond.
