What do you think of Windows 8?
I am sure many of you have watched videos and still images of the new Microsoft Windows 8 user interface.
This was my task in the last few days, and from what I have seen, I noticed that the entire new interface is just a Windows 7 skin that works on top of the ordinary Windows interface.
What do you guys think of the interface? And how do you compare Microsoft to Apple? Who do you think makes better UI's?
It's a toy OS. Unsuitable for professional computing!
Do you guys know any website which has similar tiles interface like upcoming windows 8, for accessing quick information from different websites?I tried the theme in chrome and using opera's quick dial for a while, but what i need is to access just one page containing feeds from facebook, twitter, emails, weather, stocks and news without visiting and loging into each site individually.I know that i can customize pages in my.yahoo and igoolge, but those have very limited options.
Let them release atleast the Beta version for trial then I will tell you my opinion.
