What kind of rules do we abide by

I have 2 points that need clarity???
1: I was standing at a round about in my car and was pulled over cause my music was to loud
2: I was stopped by the CID because a bus swerved into my lane and I avoided it by moving into the next lane which was a typical reaction move.
Now the question is why was the bus driver not apprehended and dealt with and why my music is bothering the police and yet I was almost taken out by other vehicles before my stop which was observed by the very police person that stopped me.
now, what really happened?
Yea I will teach u lol
Defensive driving is the biggest offense in qatar.
Why do you pay the Insurance Companies for?
Well, seems like rubbish, but it's true. In civilized countries buses have some right of way. And it makes perfect sense because they accelerate slower and need more time to stop because of their mass and hence the momentum. So, it is only fair to give way to them. But fairness isn't what you will find in Qatar's traffic scenery. Savage is the temper of traffic here, as Ibn Khaldoun said in his Muqqadima about the "Arabs". (Not my words).
Maybe you're playing the song "teach me how to dougie" which made him interested.o.O
what the heck? he was going to the left lane?
O bugger then the ID card he showed me was fake.....
Now this I agree with ....
Sorry Pal I don't pretend
I will next time lol
HAHAHAHAHA
picture this 3 lanes bus right hand lane slow lane, me center lane little faster than slow lane, me 2 meters behind bus speed 60 and going to pass the bus very soon, bus signal and moves across....and this is the rite way to do it???
Well if so then I guess who tested most of the drivers here should be tested. A signal on ur vehicle means your intention is 2 turn or move across but WHEN IT IS SAFE TO DO SO...GERRIT....
Yes I do agree, look at each case and the decide if it justified what was done...if u get wht i am saying.
It is like saying u can't smoke in your car and you can drink but only to a certain level and you can drive after...wht has killed more ppl on our roads...smoking and driving or drinking and driving...makes u think doesn't it?????
You need to snap out of your early morning delusions.
Yeah I guess it was the wrong song...hahahaha, however what rubbish is this about giving way for bigger vehicles, they should be more alert and vigilant than ever as they drive bigger vehicles and can cause more damage and get off scot free....
Wow and tht is more dangerous than public endangerment????
BTW - CID dont monitor traffic here. its either the traffic dept cops or ISF cops who do it.
That is what I did, asked CID and his response was he is crazy and you are not and the bus driver got away only to endanger some1 else.
What rubbish about giving the bigger vehicle the right of way - you just give them a carte blanche to drive how they want to. Every Vehicle and driver must driver within their own capabilities and not expect other vehicles to make allowances - otherwise it will be road chaos and no respect given to smaller cars or people on bikes etc .
And you violated that rule primarily by playing loud music on the roads....we are all here to play by the rules, make some good money, save up and go back home when we are done with all of that.
Leave the loud music type fun to the nationals and the young ones at that. If you want to have fun, do it within the confines of your home or just go to the mall or to the parks with your family or events that they organise in Qatar. There too maintain a peaceful low profile.
The only other way is to go back home or go to thailand!
defensive driving is the biggest offense in qatar...
play the right songs!!!
"typical reaction move" is breaking and slowing down and stopping. never endangering others lives by jumping into their lane without making sure it's empty and after signaling.
of course that is if u were driving at less than 80 km/h
were u overtaking (at high speed) on the ride side of the bus, was the bus clearly signaling he was going to the right line?
Everything causes accident is not tolerable, playing music louder on the street causes other driver attention's & might caused accident, there is always place for louder music like concert & disco.
No 1 is clear: you played the wrong song.
No 2 is not so easy, but I think you should always give the bigger vehicle the right of way, just like on the ocean! It's harder for them to maneuver.
1. Public nuisance.
why didn't you ask those questiond from the Cop and CID officer in the 1st place. They are the right people to answer your questions correctly.
