e46M3 is right

that's how it usually works:

-find any job

-have the debtors to consolidate your debts into one single payment

- maybe it's really a good idea to send your family back home at least for a while, so you can spend less on your rent.

...and I want to apology for all those guys, who have been rude and sarcastic, and helpless...nobody knows what situation they may get in one day...may be Oryx one day will have to sell his (or her?) own kids on e-bay (even though this idea in general makes me shaking)...may be honey will make some “stupid mistake” and somebody will tell her: “i prefer to help kids in africa suffering from hunger and AIDS, than helping people from their very stupid mistake”, and will leave her alone with her trouble... may be bajesus himself will have to work as a prostitute .. you never know, young Ladies and Gents what’s waiting for you around the corner!

... be strong, You can make it, SEEKER!...

You can work as a prostitue at the ramada or Oasis. Just make sure you you mention the "luv you long time" part.

You are absolutely right!

So is Prodigal!

"Seeker" came with a hope of finding some help.

But some are really annoying.

They became very judgemental.

If they cannot help then they should at least keep quite.

Ok..They may be expressing the reality. But this is not the time.

Ask Seeker more question and understand what he wants then you can

decide whether you want to help or not.

Don't jump the gun.

By the by..Seeker! where are you from?

Explain more about you and your trouble, if possible.

May be somebody like Ginner will come to your help.

Try..

Trying cost nothing!

Its a shame to see so many useless people using this forum. Seeker had asked for a serious advice. If you cant give any advice, dont sprinkle salt on his wounds.

Seeker have you considered moving back to your country of origin?

shame on those of you who posted harsh comments. Seeker is obviously in dire straights and has posted here hoping to get some advice. To those of you who posted good advice, well done.

I don't know how things work here in Qatar - back home in England I know places that will offer free advice. Perhaps there are internet-based equivelents. There’s certainly written advice on various websites (even if its not specific to Doha).

Seeker, you should approach your embassy and see if they can direct you to somebody willing to provide an hours free legal advice, or somebody who can provide debt-consolidation advice.

If you send me a private message telling me what your job skills are, I'll see if I know of any suitable role.

On another note, I was chatting to friends last night and they said that somebody here in Doha got made redundant. They managed to get a letter from their former employer confirming this. The debtors were willing to wipe the debt because of this. I can't advise you any further on this, but again, take it up with your embassy. Good luck

you're screwed.

:] I cant do anything to help, but you should've known you were in for it deep when taking all those loans. Good luck..

If you're here on a local indivudals sponsorship, try to get a loan from him and payy off your debts. and if you really want to get out of the ness you are in, I'd suggest to compromise with what you had before and accept a job even for less than what you used to make before, anything to get you off your feet, its gonna be slow and a long journey but at least you'll keep your dignity and won't be draged to courts and jail. i know these words may seem rough, but you're only 26, actually I'm 26 also, but life is a B.... buddy, you cant' just sit and complain and you certainly can't dwell in your past. I suggest you grab any apporunity you get to find a job, even if its temp. till you find a better one, its better than sitting unemployed for 6 months. I camt to this country 2 years ago with a total salary of 1500 USD per month, but now I got a better job with more than triple that. but still that 1500 USD back then was way better than sitting unemployed back home.

Best of luck to you

How are you continuing to live here? Who's your sponsor?

If you're unemployed now get a job and a regular income then have the debtors (bank[s] I assume) consolidate your debts into one single payment.

Banks will do that. Just make sure you have an income to show them. If you have to send your family back home and cut rental costs. It's almost summer. Plane tickets? Try Air Arabia.

If you care about your family get moving. Do something. You have hard choices to make but you must make them.

Good luck.

Spent almost a couple of hours this morning looking (and in traffic) for a bluetooth keyboard and mouse set. None to be had.

Saw a Lacie d3 Blu-Ray burner at Jarir for QR 7019.

Checked the Lacie website, price US$ 1049.99 = QR 3832.5.

Did a product search online and the least expensive was about $919, most expensive almost $1500.

Oh another thing... why did you take so much money in the first place?

By Apple• 30 Apr 2007 13:14

How u took the money from them? by agreement/loan or (sorry to ask) by cheating them? If the case is already in court definitely you'll get in prison if found guilty and probably deportation?

But tell us how do you want Qler's to help you?

So you want us on here to go and talk to your debtors or go to the Police and request them not to arrest you?

If you tried and got a job... watever small one it could be... at least you have a point to put forward to you debtors that you are working towards something, rather than sit on the fat of your A and be whinning here.

the whole my life i've been helping my only parent( my mom) since i'm in school actually..because she cant do things anymore cause she got C !!!

I was pretty strong kid..i dont complain..i keep fighting! my mom said never borrow money to everyone, sell whatever you have and if you dont have anything to sell anymore dont cheat, dont steal, dont kill..there figure out your self!

I fall and i stand up, i only young girl...i am not going to let my self into debt!

Seeker why dont you meet this people who push you to pay the debt and tell them for they cooperation that you have the intention to pay it but in 10 to 20 years time to finish it.

Tell them either that way or you give up in prison. They will take your proposal!

Besides... I have friends who are qualified Pilots and didn't have a job in India for like a couple of years... they settled for sales jobs etc... and now when the aviation industry is on the rise... they are back into flying... but had they been like you, pesimistic... they would never have gotten back into that cockpit

You shud watch the movie "Pursuit of Happiness"... maybe you'll get some inspiration from there.

what we can say...why you so greedy at first? borrow too much money and now you are suffering from your depth..

Man we cant help you..i prefer to help kids in africa suffering from hunger and AIDS, than helping people from their very stupid mistake. If only i'm a queen of rich kingdom and if only i'm your bestfriend i'll help you.

Think again who are you? why you asking for a help here? what you do for help to QL untill you asked them help back?
