What a weekend so far

So far I've seen 3 movie, baked 13 dishes (Cakes, brownies and cookies). and I am still Active and will see 2 movies tonight:)

* I Went to see Wall-E at the movies today with my niece and sister at 1.
I liked it although the beginning reminded me of I Am Legend. It was streached and kind boring, but as soon as the action kicked in, it became funny and enjoyable.
the story building up from slow to action between Wall-E and Evaaaaaa was great.I also enjoyed the cleaner par; hilarious.
It is a good family movie.

* The Kite Runner. It was good, but there were some parts left out which I think were spouse to be there.
I didn't enjoy watching it as much as reading the book.
I loved the scenery, sound track and direction. the acting was fair.
I enjoyed reading the book very much, what a stunning story; Detailed and well written. It is really an eye opener on the history of Afghanistan and what is happening under the Taliban. It really shows the meaning of friendship and brotherhood.

* Definitely, Maybe. It was ok. good directing and concept, but in overall not bad.
It could be described as a slow romantic Comedy, I liked the idea of the story teller by the father and how the kid stops him with questions and rewinds. it was cool.
It gives hope to the single parents.

I will keep you posted on what I am going to see tonight

WHY???

Although I’ve seen so many romantic comedy movies and which some how the same, but I enjoyed License to wed.

What made me see it in the first place is of course Robin Williams and John Krasinski from the office. Wanting to see how could he make it in a movie.

It was fun with some morals on the meaning of marriage and how could each couple maintain one.

No mater what Hollywood does for romantic comedy movies, is always predictable. I would love to see one that will swoop me from my feet and surprise me.

So many reviews says it is a bad movie, not comedy and that the story could’ve ended from the start to go to another church and get married their instead of taking the course.

But I liked the concept or the idea of it, because so many couples rush to marry without knowing each other well, therefore the divorce rate is so high every where in the world.

It might be worth it for those who like to go to the theaters and enjoy predicted romantic comedy.

Hmm, interesting movie in a bad way. Although it was deadly boring in the first 40 minutes, but it started to pick up little bit when all the people in town started to take care and interested about the doll Lars ordered via internet. I almost wanted to turn off the dvd.

The only think I liked of the movie, and I believe that what the moral of it, is the concept of caring, loving, support, and union.

I can say it is an ok movie, it has a unique blend of comedy and touching moments which make you think about life in general and what you are doing with your own and evaluate it. It is motivated.
