Any advice on where can we find the best buffet in Doha? And how much would it cost? We'd been here for quite some time and it seems we are eating out on only the same places. I am wondering where can we find the best buffet that offers international cuisine and lots of seafoods.
Come to my house - southern fried chicken, potatoes fried in bacon fat, bacon rapped burgers, and fries soaked in the best oil you will taste. Bring your own heart-lung machine.
... when i attended one event. they had great food served during that day. The duck was especially deeeeelicious.
I'm not sure if they do open for regular buffet meals. If this fails your taste test, you can always run to some of its adjacent restaurants like Ruby Wu or Chinggari...
Al Sharq followed by il teatro in 4seasons can be rated the best but the price is high. it is a place to be when you want to get rid of your money... if this doesn't satisfy your spendings, then call me... i can join you.... and i'll be happy to bring my friends along... waahahaha...
is the Marriot. Plenty of choice and well presented. Friday brunch offers Asian stirfry, Indian, and Mexican as well as local dishes including plenty of seafood.

is in AL SHARK guys...and it's about QR260 per person....don't fool yourself.. how on earth something "the best" could cost "less than QR50"???...lol....
Every Friday at 11:00 am til 3pm there's the usual Friday brunch at the Sheraton's Al Shaheen restaurant at the top floor with a good panoramic view of the corniche and adjacent smaller corniches towards the Pearl project. Costs Qr 130 plus 17% tax.
Includes unlimited trips on sparkling wine... But interestingly enough, water is ordered separately...
Food ranges from pasta, japanese sushi/maki, to salads and courses of arabic, continental and even has a good serving of rib eye (you slice your own).
Desert's are from fresh fruit to ice cream sorbets.
If you are new, Ponderosa is good, it's affordable. but for me, it's a kind of boring already because, they do not change their menu for years now. The best buffets i can recommend are Intercontinental, they have lots of kinds of salads and deserts. Everyday they change menu, but its pricey, it is good to eat there only for occation. Marriot Hotel is less expensive than Hotel Intercon, and the food is excellent too, there is a seafood day buffet. If you are opt for morrocan nights, go to Regency opposite Womens Hospital. Great Wall of China is also good for Chinese food, it is affordable and of great value. Caravan buffet is a good alternative for everyday cravings, they serve mostly Indian Food, Biryani- is always served, some Filipino delicacies are included. Merweb Hotel in Sadd have buffet where you can afford maybe for weekly i may say, but i don't like the atmosphere, It's so smokey just as you enter, and it goes until the buffet section. The variety of food is not much but good.
I hope i have given you some choices of buffet...CIAO CHEN!

Intercon has the worst food I have ever had in my life...so miserable, so poor, and not tasty at all..
I like buffet in La Cigal...and al sharq, as i mentioned earlier

I personally prefer Ponderosa b/c I usually hover around the tried & true food items...I'm pretty conservative with the food I eat in a buffet.
