young or old it doesnt matter, the most intelligent person is the one who often remembers death, the rememberance of death defeats joy

To god we belong and to god we shall return(for those who believe that) Whats important is what you do with your life that counts, be good to yourself and to people.Think about your future but also bear in mind that it could be your last day on earth, so enjoy it...

his mission was great and noble, but he was deeply flawed.

after cuba i could agree he was great, but after that i don't think so.  at some point the ends does not justify the means (and the bolivians believed that too which is why they gave him up).

I think God is the only one who can answer this????

we can never know why he does so.....

other than making up myths to console ourselfs....

my cousin died when he was 22 yrs old he had an accident.....

i was here in Qatar and was not even able to attend his funeral.....

I still miss him he was like sunshine so warm and full of life.....

yeah motorcycle diaries is an amazing movie!

By Withnail• 21 Apr 2008 15:36

ayrton senna was in what was at the time was one of the most dangerous sports in the world.  another driver died the day before when the team were qualifying/testing.

che fought wars, and in bolivia ended up going against his own code, which eventually pissed off the locals and cealed his fate.  you can't fight a covert guerilla war without support from the locals.  while i certainly agreed with che's goal of equality, the man was brutal and cold blooded.  the ends justifies the means for him, and i would hazard a guess that many of the people wearing his t-shirt don't really know much about who he really was.

so i'm not too sure including him in a "the best die young" list is appropriate.

BTW - have you seen 'motorcylce diaries'?  it's about him before he was a warrior - excellent flick.

Its all done and decided with ..We all were born to die .

some how no one thinks of that ..young or old doesnt matter ..the time is ticking .....

was just thinking on similar lines ..Iraq or anywherelse ..Just add another fifty years and todays combatants would be all dead and gone anyway !!
