Why man needs woman and also woman needs man?

How many times should you replace the window glass until you give up on doing this? That reminds me with something that I saw in family guy, he comes on a horse to wake her up .. he starts like you throwing stones. He throw 1, 2, 3 and nothing happens, in the end he throws his horse inside the room which was kicking everything and smashing everything in his way because it was panicked. After the horse jumps again out of the window, she wake up .. take a look around .. Is there is anyone there?

I guess neither sex need, but in my expeience life is more fun when you are paired off.

I don't think it's wise to depend too much on anyone, we come into the world alone, and go out alone, at the end of the day there's only you.

going back to the original topic, I definetly don't think it's impossible to live without a man/woman but damn it, it's so good when you have someone next to you, not to depend on but to enjoy life with, from waking up in the morning, going for vacation, somebody to encourage you and share good and bad with you. Somebody you can go out with, dance and drink, and somebody with whom you can crawl up on the weekends and spend time watching tv.

Also, it depends on a person, some of us can be happy just with friends and animal friends :)) but for me- i do love sharing my life with that someone.

Hello to you, I would like to thank you for reading my opinion and making an effort to say something about it. Yes, everyone of us is entitled to agree and disagree on something.

Well, what can I say it's you and apparently you are everything than am not and seriously am glad about it. It's a good thing that you feel good about yourself and you don't care if a man will be needing you or something. You don't need a man for you to be stronger because like what you'd said you are älready a strong and complete being. Yes, probably you don't need a man you just want them.

But I am glad that I am not pessimistic like you and I live in reality that I need someone either be a man or a woman because that's makes me human.

So take care and keep being stronger while you are alone. You will be needing that attitude for a long time =)

Wow Gia u've got a very cynical view of man kind. Yes we all have needs to satisfy but we are not slaves to them because we always have a choice. We are not decieving ourselves because we claim we love others but only love ourselves, believe it or not humans love one another, we are not as selfish as u have portrayed us to be. There is such thing as love, although its image has been distorted and people have mistaken lust to be love, love is still around us and will always be there. What do u mean we keep going like animals? And like me, there are many people satisfied with their lives.

I do not need a man "to make me feel good about myself that I can make a man care for me and eventually love me." nor do I need him to make me stronger because of his weakness as u said. Actually I don't NEED a man, I WANT a man. There's a difference. I want a man not for the reasons u mentioned but for companionship, someone who completes me (and Gypsy's reason too lol).

It's sad to see how people view love and marriage and all that. There is no hope anymore, no faith in love. Yes reality has been tough on most of us, but never give up hope. Once hope is lost, life is not worth living anymore.

The whole creation story is a myth. I'm not saying it's not true, but we should try and figure out what the storyteller is trying to tell us. As far as I know, men and women have the same number of ribs. I think what the author of Genesis is saying (as is Paul in Gal 3:28) is that men and women are not separate but are two aspects of the same humanity. Paul says, "there is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male *and* female; for all of you are on in in Christ Jesus." Two "or"s and an "and".

Of course this has implications for the LGBT issue but I'll leave that thread for others. I just think it's sad when we see gender as a reason to compete rather than cooperate.

Even God thought Man cannot live alone so he created a Woman and let them pro-create!

I am a woman why I need a man? Simple to feel good about myself that I can make a man care for me and eventually love me. What a man weaknesses will be my strength so i need a man to help me become more stronger to walk through the infinity of life because I cannot alone rounded it off!

granted, eve was created out of Adam's rib but that was only because Adam(being a man) couldnt survive without a woman!!!I rest my case.

In my opinion Human beings are the most selfish creature on this universe. We do things which make us happy. we love ppl when we like them ..actually we love ouselves and keep decieving ourselves that we are loving and caring others.

The disturbing thing is that before considering and assessing our real feeling for anyone we just keep goin like an animal..and keep fulfilling ur requirements watever...wherever comes thru...tthatwhy we are lacking the real satisfaction in our lives.

I suppose it all depends on your definition of "live." If you mean finacially or material aspects, then neither sex needs the other. I don't need a man to pay for me or find me shelter or protect me, I can do that all myself. I also don't need a man to help me raise a child. I can do that on my own too. What do I need a man for? emotional support and companionship...which at the moment I'm getting from my friends and my cat. Also I would need one for hot crazy sex, which I'm not getting at the moment. :P

Both women and men can live without eachother, but they can't live without loving and being loved. We need someone to complete us, and some people find that in the opposite sex, while others in the same sex. So it's not about "man" and "woman", it's about finding the other half.

Women can live without man as they are preoccupied with lots of things. Hobbies, career, friends, sports and surfing the internet (that's me) fills the time schedule.

For men, if they're not working, they enjoy sports, hanging out with their buddies and beer at a bar (talking about their girlfriends, wives - women in general), women-watching and what else? their lives evolves around women...from their grandmothers to their mothers, to their wives, to their daughters down to their granddaughters.

I think man and woman are two faces of the same coin,a human being is always an interdependent and they get along well with opposite sex always.

It is not about who needs who, it is not like we are running out of tomatoes here and we want to make a salad. Ok go ahead and buy some from the grocery. The relation between men and women is simple and complicated in the same time. It depends on the desire sometimes as Cornellian said earlier. What do you want out of this relation can determine if it would a successful one or a failure. If it is a real relation or a fake one.

Answering this question from another point of view would be that no one can live alone and we all need each other. Men and women naturally need each other and I'm not talking about the biological needs, but the emotional needs which is more important than the biological needs. The relations built on biological needs never last and are shallow.

No one can deny that we men came out of women and would always love to return back to them in the end. Honestly, no matter how much older the man grows, he would always be his wife big child.

A woman also would feel the need for a man, to be always there for her, protect and support her. She got emotions and feels that she wants someone to share that with someone, but she needs to feel secure to share those emotions with a real man.

I can't talk about the need for having children that everyone got their deep inside, no one can see those little angels and say: I want to get married, but not to have those kids who would prevent me and be a stone in my way to have fun in life. All of those people forget about all of the comments that does not make sense before when they got their first children. Try reminding them with the past and you will get answers like: I was a fool, I did not mean it. To make it simple the need for having a family is a very good reason for the women and men to need [love and cherish] each other.

Some are afraid of being lonely when they get old, so we got this kind of relation after the kids [used to be] get married and the visits are less frequent. Should I spend the whole day alone? Even some of them don't declare that or say it, you can feel that.

The man by himself is not complete, he is only representing a half.

The woman by herself is not complete, she is only a half too. Men and Women are living their lives looking for the other half that makes them complete.

Hmmm I don't think a man needs a woman or a woman needs a man, if a man needed a woman or if women were so important to men, there wouldn't be gays, and vise versa if women needed men and found them so important, there wouldn't be any lesbians. I think it's more about the desire to love and be loved in return.
