As per the BBC - Everton, Newcastle and Tottenham head a shortlist of takeover targets for the Qatar royal family, who are looking to follow up on their success in landing the 2022 World Cup.
I don't believe they want to go that way. However, His Highness is apparently an ardent Arsenal Fan ...
@ Britexpat, you mean money spent wisely! *wink*!...yes you're right,Sh. Nasser bin Abdulla is the first Qatari owner of a European football club, but not an EPL club...why negative publicity?...
There were talks of them buying Liverpool but that didn't materialize...probably because they were too busy attempting to buy one supermarket(Sainsbury's,they're still at it.) & sucessfully buying another(Harrod's) while the Emirati boys picked up a REAL asset...an EPL club is an EPL club...& the owners are in an impromptu exclusive club...so yeah,it's about time they invested in one now that they've won the bid & actually, the lower down the table & more in debt, the better 'cos everyone loves a turnaround eh?!...Arsenal deal seems unlikely considering Emirates funded their spanking new stadium! don't think the boys in Dubai would agree to that!...furthermore His Highness wouldn't want to own a club whose homeground is called "the Emirates" now would he?! :)...
He just makes no sense at all Baldrick, Chris is/was doing a fantastic job, had some fantastic results, yes some bad ones but our only aim was survival this season. To sack him was spineless, but that is Mike Arshley all over, the sooner he sells up the better .....TOON TOON BLACK AND WHITE AND MAROON ARMY!! :-)
Whoever they buy, I hope they spend their money bit more wisely than Man C.. How much did they pay for Lescott and he is busy warming up the bench at the best of times
Reds, they've just been bought, or didn't you notice that!
Ashley is an Arse. I'd be glad to see the back of him and get in someone who sees the benefit of a manager who can pull you back out of the doldrums to a mid table position!
Can't see him buying into the Yids (Spurs are traditionally a Jewish run firm) and Everton are not exactly a hot prospect.
Newcastle need a stiff broom up the arse and this could be just what they need, but if they want to buy a team that is crying out for fresh investment I'd be happy to see HRH as owner of Manchester United - That would also put one over on those Abu Dhabi upstarts and finally get the #$$%ing Glazers out! :P

Money has been known to solve most things..
I doubt whether Qatar will want to go into ownership of an EPL club.. Too much negative publicity involved..
By the way, as far as I know, Malaga FootbSheikh all Club is owned by a member of the Qatar Royal Family..

Former chairman Freddy Shepherd has said that Newcastle were right to sack Chris Hughton - as he was too nice..
I suppose Pardew is a real animal :O)
... and this week's guest manager is ...
The club need stability first and foremost.

Reds_Heart Liverpool won't be considered.Remember they have been bought by New England Sports Ventures owned by the American John.W.Henry.
I bloody well hope so, get that buffoon Ashley out he's ruining our club! I mean Alan Pardew????? .....gutted :-(
Why not liverpool, the best football team in the world. It will be a fabulous choice to be a RED.
Newcastle could be a club that needs serious investment with their talented players and huge support all over the country, why not?
Well that sounds interesting.Although that could be possible.
