Woqood Petrol Station - Near Lulu hypermarket

Its a new petrol station in that area. Today I went to fill up my petrol tank when all of a sudden attendant started cleaning my front & rear windows. At first, I went very embarrased that he found my car so dirty that he decided to do it himself hahahha but when I looked back I saw another attendant doing the similar thing to another car. I wonder if this is Woqood tradition or free service in a new petrol station hehehehe

had a sad experience with these windshield cleaners...went to woqod and filled my tank full. politely asked the guy to clean my windshield. the guy refused because he told me that there are other cars waiting in line.

next in line was a black, window-tinted lexus. the same guy hurriedly took his materials and cleaned the other car's windshield. he just looked at me and gave me a smile...

maybe because i was driving an old mitsubishi lancer that time. lancer vs. lexus....pretty obvious isn't it?

at a petrol station a few days ago, but wasn't sure if they sold them, so I asked the attendant if they did and he said yes. As I was preparing to get out the car, one of the other attendants offered to get them for me....

Tipped him big when he came back, he saved me the hassle of unbuckling my belt. Always tip for the small services, they are more than willing next time to help you out.

The guys at my local car wash fight to clean my car inside - lol... As its always full of doghair, it takes extra time to vaccume, the wash and vaccume service is QR25, and I always make sure to tip at least QR10 - QR15 for each guy that was cleaning to say thank you...

Absolutely yes... so those who are lucky MUST help those who are not.

I really hope to get a cool job in Doha, moving there and be part of the changes that Doha will live in the next years...

Those poor workers are whole day out be it hot or cold.

We the fortunate should / must tip them it won't make a dent in our pocket.

May God bless you for your kindness

It's a quite common service offered by petrol station in Italy.. and no one leave any tip...

But probably, with so low salaries in Qatar, a tip will be more than welcome!

No the workers don't just do it so that they can get tip. They do it because its a part of their job at Woqod...however I make sure to tip them everytime.

The first time I tipped them they were pretty surprised.

this practice is since last 10 yrs or more in All Fuel station not only of one particular like ENOC/ ADNOC/ EMARAT etc..

Last year, when Waqood opened it's new fuel station near Jeidah buidling (Doha Petrol Station) I 1st experienced this service by them only.

Other most of the fuel station are outdated in terms of services and even their fuel machines I don't trust !
