Paul (Octopus) and Mani (Parrot) predicts differently. Paul predicted in favour of Spain but Mani predicted in favour of Holland. The previous predictions by both Paul and Mani were correct.

What will happen tonight?

Shakira..... where are you, we are waiting... waka waka ;)

I'll celebrate in both the cases..The reason is simple: HOLLAND had been to two finals even before(1974-78)but never won the tournament..SO i want them to win..

Whereas SPAIN reserved fourth place in the year 1950..So i want them to win as well.. heheh heee

I am at two place so can't decide..

rebel,i want to see SHAKIRA first..lolzz..i will surely celebrate no matter if SPAIN or HOLLAND wins..My heart and mind goes for both..

Heart says Spain but Minds says Dutch. What so ever there will be lot of fun n fuss in today's match.

Klose was on the bench because the coach started a new attacking lineup of mueller, cacau and jansen

Yes hms,i agree Klose wasn't happy about not being allowed play!

By hms• 11 Jul 2010 11:20
hms

M. i agree with u now, but why Klose was on bench, poor guy was looking disgusted.

By Mr M.• 11 Jul 2010 11:16
Mr M.

Yes hms i know the match would go into extra-time,but the Paraguayans and South American teams in general have got the stamina and they don't tire easily,so they would have created more chances, with Podolski,Lahm and Klose on the bench!

By Mr M.• 11 Jul 2010 11:13
Mr M.

The Netherlands have a formidable attacking and mid-field lineup, but they could be startled by the precision passing game of the Spanish.

By hms• 11 Jul 2010 11:11
hms

M. even if Forlan scored that goal, then match would have entered extra time, how can u say paul was wrong ?? even after that German could have won easily,

I dont why Klose was rested, he missed the chance of scoring max goals in world cup history.

By Mr M.• 11 Jul 2010 10:59
Mr M.

Paul almost lost last night!

Forlan smashed a free kick on the German keeper's crossbar,it almost went in! Pheew!

Anyway i am hoping The Dutch win this INSHAALLAH.

jeroenb, Just go through the link.

Moreover, the term Holland is frequently used to refer to the whole of the Netherlands (I know that the Duetch is not in favour of calling Netherlands as Holland but for most of the other Nationals it is known as Holland especially among the older generations)

By soniya• 11 Jul 2010 09:04
soniya

I am with both actually..NETHERLAND reached finals in 1974-78 but failed to win the WC both the times..So my mind allows HOLLAND to win..
