Sabah Al-Khair,
Last 2 days I had a terrible flu and now Thanks God I am almost cured, so let’s speak today about some medical related words.
Words:
Mashfa = Mustashfa = Hospital
Saydaleya = Pharmacy
Tabeeb / Hakeem / Doctor = Doctor
Saydaly = Pharmacist
Dawa = Medicine
Quiz
1- How can we say “Where is the nearest pharmacy?” in Arabic? – plz use English letters –
2- What is the English Translation of “Khoz Haza al-dawa Marratain bel-yom”
Have a healthy day :)
RAK: regarding the pronunciation u can keep note of all the words which u want to know about and in the near future i will arrange for some kind of gathering of this thread members to discuss about it (but sure after taking the permission from darude)

Very helpful Osama Thanks for the classes:)
But also would like to know how you can ask questions:
Who..? What is? Which? and so forth...thanks
Thank you Osama :)
I only know dawa (Common word in hindi) and bit about the word for pharmacy (though I need to know the actual pronunciation)
Khaal: aqrab wahda = "nearest one"
so in our example "nearest pharmacy"
similarly we can say
aqrab masjid = nearest mosque
aqrab kaneesa = nearest church
and so on
but osama! i think nearest, we can say like "Aqrab Wahda"
isn't it???
fea:
qareeb = near
Aqrab = nearest
and for the question tag
wain = Aein = where
Sukran Osama...everyday I opened QL for this..and take notes..
i was suppose to say
wen kareeb Saydaleya ?
good to know that some ppl are learning :)
u can try ur best anjy, good luck :)
I wish I could participate here..but I am learning..Thank you Osama
Thanks osama.
yes cheruk, perfect :)
1. ain aqrab saidaliya?
2. Take this medicine twice a day
Is that right osama?
