Is it true that if you are caught wearing a vest top whist you are driving, you will be fined QR14oo?
I have just been told that we are to be fined QR1400, if caught driving with our shoulders showing. It's very rare I go out dressed in this way. Having lived in Doha for 20 years, I try to stick to what I consider an appropriate dress code, but I'd like to be aware of the facts of the matter. Has this happened because of the inappropriate dress of some women that visit the mall etc?
Hi Debramh, Obviously I don't know the answer. If I did, I wouldn't have made a wisecrack like that. I have been in Doha for less than 2 months and my knowledge of this place is very limited. Cheers!
Hey Bob, I wouldn't be asking if I knew would I? Just wanted to have it confirmed if it was true, or not. I probably know less now than I did twenty years ago, lines of communication are not what they used to be. Do you happen to know the answer by any chance?
