Liquor consumption at Diplomatic Club tent

Goa Dictator
By Goa Dictator

Hello can anyone help in guiding me whether liquor sale is permissable in the Diplomatic Club tent by any other party other than the hotel authorites.
I understand some of my Indian friends from state of Goa will have there traditional Mayball Queen dance at the Tent on May 6, organised under the name of Goan Welfare Association, have been told that they will not be allowed to bring liquor from outside and consume at the tent but will have to buy from the Hotel bar, which is a five minutes walk.
can anyone throw more light on this issue.
is it not illegal to carry liquor from your home place to another palce (hotel- diplomatic club) and allow another person to consuime liquor.

Mr. Lincoln you have misunderstood, Islam does not allow anyone in anyway to sell or consume Liquor regardless of person or govt. According to Islam Liquor is the mother of all evils.
