Qatar came in the first place among the Arab countries and in 12th place on global level among 153 countries by advancing its position this year.

Globally Qatar came ahead of many countries such as Sweden (13), Bulgaria (14), Singapore (24), Britain (26), France (36), Italy (45) and the United States (82).

But don't these surveys just rely on the data they are given in terms of mortality and crime. And crime is WAY WAY underreported here.

I saw some crime stats for Education City saying that there had been all of a couple of robberies in the past year. The dude that showed me them laughed and said stuff gets stolen, but it's handled internally or no one bothers to report it. Just like the rest of the country I suspect.
