No, women's beauty is not meant to be kept secret, and woman's beauty is her's to do what she wants with. If she wants to be a PlayBoy model, then so be it. If she wants to be a nun so be it. It's not up for anyone but her to decide and she should be respected for any decision she makes.

By tomatoe• 3 Jun 2009 13:10

do u really mean to say the beauties are ment to be exposed , like the stars and the flowers, .....well not at all , they can go all around the world , do all the things what they want to ,why be even apresident ,do you think to do all these women need to expose her beauty? i m sure its only planning and action. womens beauty is ment to be always kept secret , why some time women who are covered feel more jelous to see their own body. coz it has been a secret. thats alwayas different from a pulic secret. no judgement. beauty is not the look or the appearance, but how it is protected, today we have so much cosmetics for women , why ?

That doesn't make any sense tomatoe. You can't value something for it's beauty if you can't see it. Think about great works of art, flowers, stars, etc. They're are valued for their beauty because people can SEE how beautiful they are. People travel all over the world and go to great lengths to see beautiful things and they don't become any less beautiful because people see them.

The value of a woman is the value of any other human being, what they can give to society as a whole, whether through work, or motherhood, or even through their beauty (Think about Angelina Jolie and how much good work she gets to do for poor people simply because she's beautiful and that's given her those opportunities.) Other woman contribute through the strength of their character and hard work like Mother Theresa. Would you say either of those women should have been covered and not allowed to leave their house?

By donosa• 3 Jun 2009 11:55

You should try and explain yourself better, because I can't understand.

Destroy de buildings,

burn the paintings,

get rid of the poems,

destroy all the beauty of this world,

because it is not meant to be seen...

??????????????????????????????????

I am who I am, I don't need to cover myself to make an statement of the respect I am entitled to from others. If people want to see me or not, it's their problem. I live happy, I was born NAKED, just like you.

If God wanted me to be covered, he must have sent me all furry like a bear, or wearing clothes.

But if you can't look at me without having bad thoughts... well, that is YOUR problem, not mine. I am precious woman in a whole (inside and out, we all women are), and I don't have to hide it from anyone.

preciousness of any thing in this world will be worth only if its in the correct status. this is not the protection by men or by any means, the secret of the beauty. when its a secret , its always valued, what happens when its a pubilc secret. many women in many countries have tried to keep the secret as a secret , but they give up, i guess in arab countries they really know what s this secret can bring them. do you think men here are controling women, well i guess not, its a matter of understanding the value of them.

So, are you saying that the women in arab countries are the only ones protected? Is your opinion based on what these women wear? Just making some clarifications on your post.

See its natural to unveil the hidden stuffs ... curiosity ... and when u cover up others have the intention of peeking in ...be natural and dress respectfully ( respectful in the sense that in a descent way and not fully covering up).

i really pity the arab ladies in their black abaya fighting against this hot summer ...

Covering doesn't protect you from anything but the harmful effects of the sun. :P....Oh wait that's not true, cause you can get too hot and get heat stroke...

Ok so covering doesn't protect you from anything.

No. Being covered doesn't make your life any more or less peacefull. I would say she's probably not as fullfilled or happy.

By tomatoe• 3 Jun 2009 10:35

do you believe a home with a woman of covered lives a peaceful life than an opposite type,

By MissX• 3 Jun 2009 10:15

huh Tomatoe? You're saying the flower was dying because a human looked at it, and what offspring can come from a burned flower? You're joking right? I'm sorry I haven't studied clown science, so I am not up to date on all the experiments.

If you want to use the flower analogy, then God has put flowers in bright and beautiful multitudes all over the world so that everyone can see, experience and enjoy them.

By Gypsy• 3 Jun 2009 09:50

Aware of my preciousness??? You're kidding right? The only thing I've been made aware of in Arab nations is how "inferior" I am to men, how much harder I have to work, that I'm only a sex object and a breed cow.

In Canada at least I was told I can be and do anything I set my mind to, that the sky was the limit and that I should be respected no matter what clothing I wear or how I appear.

To me THAT is stating how precious a woman is. By treating her like a human being.

By tomatoe• 3 Jun 2009 09:42
tomatoe

have you heard that during an experiment done , that a beautiful flower was deing by the look of a person. i mean to say the evil eyes , besides these beautiful products are breeders, what kind of off spring can we expect from a burnt flower. also these beautiful product of God was sent to this world with a beautful covering. And by the way these are not an exhibition ornaments,

To quote myself

"All people like to look at beautiful things, and it is a pleasure to look at a stunning woman. It's like looking at a work of art. That's why it is such a shame that some women cover up. It's like denying the world of some of its natural beauty. Like chopping down the trees of the cities you live in."

I think you should reconsider the thought that hiding beauty is not necessarily an act of protecting something precious, but rather of being selfish about it.

Only in arab countries they are aware of their preciousness? What makes you think that? Are women not worth anything in your country?
