Guys, quit talking crap and actually help her and not insult what she is doing!  Either that or go back to work and do something productive.

Ms. Piscean....  congrats.  Good news and best of luck.

Your best bet is to check with your embassy and his.  Christian can marry muslim  so dont stress about this.     You should be able to marry here locally... not sure if there is a jordanian embassy here but my friend in Dubai did the same and was married (2 years back) at the jordanian embassy.

You DO NOT need to convert.  You DO NOT need to ask what you want before or after.   This isnt a damn prenuptial agreement.  This ONLY applies if you are BOTH muslim.

u cannot have christian marriage unless he becomes a chrisitan ... as well u cannot have islam marriage unless u becom muslim! complicated, u need civil marriage which is not availabe in qatar. Cyprus is the nearest ... or become muslim for him or he become christian for u.

As advised by the Phillipine embassy in Qatar the embassy would only marry the same nationality in their embassy or British or American and no other nationalities.. So the only way you guys can marry is Try his embassy or you have to convert into Muslim and get married in the Sharia court.. No other way in Qatar.

In the civil court. Easy. Let your fiancee go there are ask about requried documents.. They don't speak English there.. Once all is submitted, they will give you a date for registering the marriage. Do not forget to prepare yourself to answer 2 questions: how much you want to get from your husband BEFORE the marriage, and how much AFTER.. Don't get caught off guard:)

Better to visit the Philippine Embassy for the required documents. They will advise you what to do.

Good Luck for your future marriage life.
