Is 16000 QR per month enough?

I have been offered a salary of 16000 QR per month (all included ) in a reputed consulting firm. I am recently married and would be moving with my wife and am 30 yrs old. Can you please let me know whether this is good enough to sustain in Doha and also make some savings at a reasonable lifestyle (no extra lavishness)?

Thanks

3 major expensive things in Qatar

.

HOUSE RENT-CAR/PERSONAL LOAN Installments-Mobile Bills & Eating out(totally depends upon u)

.

So, Stick to house cooking instead of RESTAURANTS. You can have a normal cars like NISSA SUNNY/TIIDA, HONDA CITY/CIVIC etc which can save u alot.

.

Use landline - landline calls maximum and avoid calls from your mobile.

.

And i think you mature enough to plan your own savings

Salary more than 12k is very good for living in Qatar. Rents will get more low as stated in TODAYS edition of PENINSULA QATAR NEWSPAPE.

.

It only depends on your living style. As you have married recently then it won't be any problem for you to have a good reasonable life in Qatar.

Well to maintain life here in Qatar is not that easy means it depends on your expanses .

So can accomodate in small and old accomodation some needs high fi status..

But if you are a normal spending person so 16000 is the best income..

6000 flat

250 E/W

1500 Mobile/ADSL/Landline

2000 Car installment

2000 monthly house expenditure
