Hi

I have an offer of 23,500 per month, exc accommodation allowance.

I'll be coming out on my own for the 1st 6 months then my wife and 6 month old will be following.

Is this salary enough to live a decent standard and be able to save?

if the housing allowance is excluded it will be ok for a short term. I mean by short term while you don't have kids going to school. Else you have to pay at least 25000QR/kid/Year.

So in general it is ok if you don't pay tax in your country. Go for it...may be your wife will find a job easily and live is good

Anthony

You should be able to save with your salary. You can still find acceptable places to live at a reasonable price if you are not too picky. Doha can be a bit pricier that other gulf states so shop around before you make your decision. Doha is a good place to stay with your family. Been here for eight years and prefer it than other GCC countries
