Hi guys,

Greetings!

I'm from the Philippines and I just got an offer of 5,000 to 6,000 range of salary as a systems engineer in DOHA. I would like to know if that is good offer?

I'm single and the employer said to me that basic salary includes already the transportation and housing.

Guys help.

Thanks,

Casper

if it includes your accomodation and everything?..not worth it man!, stay in Manila, or look for a better opportunity.

I'm thinking of not to accept the offer anymore. If I'll be comparing this to what I have offers locally of 40-47K PHP peso I guess its better here in the Philippines than going in Qatar with that offer.

Besides of having my family with me, I won't be thinking of my accomodation, eventhough we have a big tax in the Philippines the offer I have in Qatar is not as much as doubled summing all possible incurred expenses there in Qatar.

Do you agree guys? Or do you have others thoughts? Thanks for all the comments. Enlightened me more...

Well from what youhave just said this included Housing and Transport and with about 3 yrs Experience, Hmmm, NOT GOOD my friend, not good at all...

You need to get that figure to atleast 8K - 9K...otherwise, dont consider it, ofcourse again thats your decision, depending on the present situation of your life...

But for me, I would say, FCKU OFF!!!

Well if u graduated recently from the uni. then its fine. But if u have experiance of atleast 2 years you should ask for around 10.

You know, that you are screwed, when ur phone rings, while you sneak into your own house like a thief and your wife is asleep at 3 am in the morning... Perhaps that would be the last time you enter your own house lol.
