Canadian citizens in Qatar

I am a Canadian citizen contemplating to relocate to Qatar. I have been doing Software Consulting work as a Software QA/Tester for over 10 years in Canada.
I will appreciate any info from Canadian citizens as to how they were able to land a job in Qatar and any information on a seamless relocation to Qatar?

Seamless transition is an oxymoran in these parts. It doesn't exist. Things are done different, quite different and to expect so you are doomed for failure. Try Gulf talent and places like Bayt.com.and wait for 10-12 months for a response.....lol but serious.
