CLAIMING EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
Dear Friends,
I would like to seek and advice, from you. On completion of 6 months probation period in company and total duration completed 8 months 15 days. Company has terminated due to unspecified reason verbally informed. And given me 1 month notice to search other job with all supporting documents NOC, Transfer. Since today to complete my notice period with this company I will be completing 9 months 10 days. Since I am aware that As per Qatar Labor Law employee who not completed 1 year with company is not entitle for any benefits such like Leave Salary and Gratuity & at Least 1 Way ticket.
Since I had not Resigned, but company verbal specified that business running in loss, could not pay my salary. Should I can get any claims for my benefits. Because my company is branch of Main Group of Companies which are doing business very good above the mark level.
Kindly advice on this. It will be a great help.

Benefits claim is possible only as per your contract agreement with the company.
I think visa transfer is not possible before completing 1 year. But you can utilize NOC for new job. Start hunting job immediately(utilize classifieds - Gulftimes, QL etc). It will be very easy if you could find any new job openings in any of your company branches.
If needed you can ask for exit, go home and come back after Ramadan.

I guess it's not possible to claim any benefits. You've got the NOC, that's a good thing but don't expect anything beyond. bdw, you've got to exit & come back in case you'd like to join another company before completing 1 year.
