Dental Specialist Offer and Family move
Hi everyone,
I was really hoping for some advice and help. I have been offered a position for a Dental specialist in a private clinic.
The offer is 35,000 QR base per month (all inclusive) with 45% anything over 90,000 QR bonus per month.
I would be moving with my wife and 2 daughters so would need 3/4 bed apartment and also will have to put my daughters into primary school too.
Is this a salary that we will be able to live comfortably and more importantly save!!
Also any good idea as to schools, living and expenses from the more experienced people out there??
My wife was thinking once we have settled she would try to get a teaching assitant position, she is a UK lawyer but not practiicing and would something to get some extra cash.
Any advice and help would be really appreciated
Thanks
Thanks for the response.
Ive had a look and can't seem to find those kind of expenses. I was thinking of staying in the Ain Khalid area within a compound possibly and as much inclusive as possible.
I was still trying to figure out how much I could save with my salary.
With a family of 4 what would be a regular monthly expense
What are the available things to do etc?
Thanks again for the advice and help
10k is too costly for fully furnished mam
Grocery veg nv water 3k fine
School term fees months once
car 20k u can get old car with good condition
Outing dress hotel monthly 3k it depend on ur spend
I was thinking for monthly costs:
around 10-12k for housing
3.5k for schooling
3k for grocery and utilities? or more??
car??
any other costs?
That roughly comes to about 20-25k
Does that sound/seem right?
3000 qar monthly expenses for grocery water ..
Ezdan best for bhk full furnished
Many British school but by this time admission closed april curriculum will be strd
Also with regards to finding a property, how best to go about this? Any particular agents that are recommended? I was thinking of going for a fully furnished property, maybe 3 bed and as much inclusive as possible to minimise haulage costs??
Again, advice/comments would be much appreciated
Thanks
That sounds great. Can I ask and if possible get a slightly more detailed breakdown of monthly outgoings?
Where would you recommend staying, and what schools/nursery? Would like to maintain British curriculum and I heard Doha British School and DESS seem to be good and popular.
Thanks again
Yup u can save good, we are getting 1/3 rd of ur salary saving and living peaceful in qatar so u can save more live happily
Thanks for the reply.
I'm not sure if I get your figures right??
It seems like the full 35k QAR would be eaten up with little to save.
After getting permanent visa for family ur wife can get job
3 bhk fully furnished 7k in ezdan 10k qar with better amenities
Then school fees term wise for child 10k riyal maximum in international school
Thrn grocery car medical vegetables monthly maximum
So after coming visa process u should pay
So after that more than most salary s saving
U can come enjoy there
