Expenses in Qatar
Hello Friends,. I have got an IT job offer which provides accomodation + 4000 Riyals (as allowance for Qatar) + Indian Salary (4960 QR ie.Rs.61000 in Mumbai A/c) when Posted in Qatar (for around one or more years). Do you think above is good salary for ERP professional of more than 5 year Exp.or should I ask more.
I would be grateful if you can provide me idea of expenses on following:
1. Food Veg.(will be eating in Economy rest. or lodge as I can't cook)
2. Travelling considering office 10 km away
3. Laundry
4. Internet Chrges.
5. Utility chrges (Electricity, Maint. chargs for Company rented house (having rent of not more than 1800 QRiyals.) I have option of getting 1800 Riyals if I can arrange Accomodation myself. Can I have a decent 1 room kichen furnished accomodation in 1800 Riyals.(Thinking to bring wife after 3 mths)
6. Any other basic necessity charges missed above.
Can I hope to save 2000 QRiyals after above expenses.
Your input would really help me to decide.

not bad for single guy since u will be getting 5800 plus ur full Indian Salary.
If u planning to bring family ask for a revision in the basic salary plus family accommodation
The Salary is ok if you are single.
For family, its obviously not good.
1 BHK (independent & unfurnished) will not be less than 2800.
Food - Expensive.
Grocery - Expensive
Travelling - own car is compulsory (atleast for family)
Fuel: cheap.
Water & Elect: 300-500 (may be company will take care)
Internet - 200 QR/month (if u r not sharing with someone)
Don't take the accomodation allowance, it is very low.
the living index in Qatar is very high, but you can manage it if they provide you wit haccomodation.
yes, u can save 2000qr easily as company is providing the accommodation
According to me Your Indian Salary is Good, Wait for some good opportunity. Now Cost of living in Qatar is high.
In this salary u can't save that much.........
