The five star airline will increase the salary?????or the staff will just dream..(QATAR AIRWAYS)

Qatarairways is the best airline in the midle east & made a big booming in the world..Are  the company going to increase the salary of the poor staff ... Staff, cabin crew, reservations, airport staff, who gives their best effort to serve their passengers with the highest quality of care in the nation .Unfortunately the salary they are receiving are competitive enough to the high rent + commodities + stuffs of Qatar now...
Anyway hoping they will increase... so that the poor staff will not move away from qatar.

At least can they offer an accomodations for the staff who are married & can't bring their family,or 2 families who are sharing a flat withtwo rooms,or the family staying in one room .As they always promise they said MAR

for the exsisting staff....NO

For new recruits yes.

The administration is gonna loose exsisting talents to other orgs. Its gonna pull down the staff morale due to pay disparity. They are gonna feel the pinch of transistion

I see Qatar Airways like a lot of companies here. Take what you can and give nothing back!! I can guaranty you that the people at the top get their bonus and raises at the expense of the people who do the real work under not so nice conditions. The way I have seen their CEO scream and shout at employees tells me enough about the corporate mentality

Your 5 star airline is a load of rubbish unless you are on the London route.

Qrs.1,900 for a return trip to Dubai and an A/C system that did not work on the way back...

Very 5 star.......

If you book a round trip out of Qatar, the price will be alot cheaper.

One alternative to look at is Etihad Airways..... cheaper and they actually give you your airmiles.... Must have lost at least 17,000 miles this year despite claiming for missing miles online via QA website.

This is the way the economy is being run. Since the Government does not tax the residents. This is another way of recycling the money back in to the system. Obviously individual will always double check before they purchase anything and will go for the best price.

So if you don't buy it some one else will. and these guys know that.

Was being sarcey about the stars they boast of.... I totally agree with you on under cutting fares, that's how they get full flights.

Kaplazz ... You are wrong.. QA has no stars anywhere.. if you compare with airlines like Emirates, Swiss, LH.. this is a piece of ***t.

Regarding pricing.. in Qatar they sell so high since they have nonstop flights to the points doha being their hub. In any of their network stations ( destination markets) THEY ARE THE CHEAPEST, and they are the one undercutting the fares and ruining the market.

Its not a bad product at all.. though ther is enough room for improvement. BUT no where near ones like Emirates. it will take ages for them to reach there.

Qatarisun ... This happens in most cases, Air fares are published and decided by IATA ( international Air Transports Asociation) which is called the published fare. Then dpending on the market airlines and the civil aviation decides a fare strecture which suites the market which will be in use. This can vary always....

Apart from this, Airlines undercut their fares to fight the competition..the ticket would show the market fare but will be sold on a much lower rate, sometimes the agents keep them as their retention, sometimes a portion will be diluted and parted to the passenger.

These fare differnces were much more before and now is been balanced to a gr8 extent after the intro of E- ticketing.

Its better to always compare both the origin and destination on fares available, there might be even special offers if they are goin thru a lean period.

cheers

lol...Kaplatzki.. but case with QA is even worth! you buy a coke from supermarket for the reasonable price, and then you buy, excuse me, a urin from the Rydges twice as expensive...

recollect QA advertising for a C&B specialist not long since.

Maybe he's taking his time getting things moving.

Please dont grumble... the difference between QA n the rest of the airlines is the 5 stars !!!! you have to pay extra for that...its like buying a coke from the super market n buying one from the Rydges....

qatar airways the best of what??!!

mmmhhhh customer care is still a little known concept in Qatar and QA calls itself five stars to shoot prices to outer galaxies...

of course this is management's fault and has nothing to do with staff and crew

just a recent example about QA... I have to book my round ticket to Toronto. I called few companies here..

well.. Lufthansa was about QR16,000.. British was about QR18,000, Qatar Airways was....QR25,000!

..now.. i called my agent in Toronto, she issued me the same type of ticket (the same class, round doha-toronto-doha), with Lufthansa for...QR13,500...

CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY IS THAT???

...why Lufthansa, booked in Doha has different price from Lufthansa, booked from toronto??

And why is QA are sooo unreasonably pricy?????
