You better post what kind of job you are looking for and an approx. salary based on your nationality can be advised by someone. You can then decide where you stand and how much you need to negotiate. Degrees/ colleges have only that much value as much as the job you are targetting for. As for salary research, go to some of the good manpower hiring sites and check their salary tracker (or something like that) , that may give you some idea.

When some one said that "Do your research before accepting anything" !! It makes me more frenzy that even I am not able to do research. :) :) I am trying to do all sort of research and its going on..

I agree with ajit. Do your research before accepting anything. Its an expensive country to stay.

here the policy is "If you demand 100 you will get 50, and if you don't demand anything then you will get 20, and in your mind it was 70".. same thing in case of your salary increment on each year too.l

Just like anywhere else.....you need to ask for the Job offer package based on your research - about Qatar. Before you accept any offer - first spend some time in reviewing the cost of living - including rentals, schooling, dine out,Utility bills etc, you may go to different websites online to get some idea about the overall standards of living in Qatar ... or check with some of your colleagues to get an idea. But the bottom line is dont shy away in negotating your salary offer - so that you will not have any regrets once you join the Co,
