Hi,

Yes i think it is a good salary but you have to take care of the money use it propetly because it can finish in blink if you use on expensive things.

HI,

From your package seems like a fairly good deal depending on what trade you are in. Just be careful on those little other expenses like return tickets, dental, health and insurances. Location of your accomodation counts afair bit too.

Monthly expenses usually do not exceed more than QR 1K give and take on some occassion eat out in average places like fast food outlet, decent restuarant (not 5 star), bills, phone and internet.

If you are making overseas calls, it can be expensive. Is oyur driving license able to make coversion? And make sure you drive with care. One traffic fine can be as high as QR 5~6K.

I think its a good salary if housing and car will be provided

Ask about annual tickets and any school fee payment by your company as well

Good luck

It all depends on the lifestyle you expect to live. That would be a lot too some people, but not much to others. A western expat coming to Qatar for the money is usually looking to earn at least 1.5x what they could get back home.
