Interview

Hi

I am UK national, I had telephonic interview last month by a company in Qatar. Now after successful telephone interview, they recently invited me for face to face interview in Qatar. I was bit surprised that if is this normal that they call for face to face interview from UK to Qatar although I am not selected yet.

They will bear all the cost of the trip which include air ticket, visa and hotel stay including pick and drop from airport.

I am now seriously thinking to go for it however your comments on this will really be appreciated.

thanks

I Was called directly by the Top Qatari Company for Face to Face Interview, With Business Class Ticket, Allowance on Arrival, 5* Accommodation, and Interview was for 15 mins only....

Got the offer 15 days after the Interview..

Best of luck for your Interview!!!

Yes this is normal. Last time we paid a brit (a very good potential candidate after telephone interviews) to come down for an interview, and it was a complete disaster. Had to send him back. Shows that one can't rely on telephone interviews alone.

My firm recently interviewed an Indian national residing there. 2 days here, all expenses paid.

I guess its the norm.

and you will get to see the country for yourself before you make a decision.

Gentleman,

You are not losing anything. Everything is taken care of by the Company. Just walk in and attend the interview. Who knows that this job will change your destiny?

our company called 2 candidates from UAE to attend interview and after paying all the expenses non of them got hired.

so it is normal, there is a budget in the reputed companies for "recruiting expenses"

good luck with ur interview
