IT Salary Survey for QAtar & Salary Breakup
Dear All,
We are starting operations in Qatar and would appreciate if members here could help me understand salary details related to IT industry in Qatar.
If anyone from the IT industry could shed some light on the salary range for IT professionals having 2-5 yrs , 5-7 yrs and 7+ yrs of experience.
Also would like to know the various salary breakups and benefits that are offered?
I have heard that Accomodation and Conveyance are sponsored by employers. Kindly clarify on how to formulate these benefits. Do these constitute a % of the basic or is it to be randomly decided based on market rate?
What other benefits are offered to employees?
Appreciate if members could spend some time and help me have a direction.
Could anyone help me with salary survey (I.T) for Qatar?

We would be flexible in defining the salary but sure every region has a salary range which can be reference points. Normally in INdia we have the MCKinsey salary survey, so similarly do u have any such salary surveys which you can share with me.

It completely depends on the organizational structure you design for your company and other variables like
a.) skill set.
b.) years of experience.
c.) Growth prospects.
d.) Reputation of the company.
and so on...
First of all it is very difficult to get people with right skill set. If you find the right person, then you need to negotiate the salary with them to make them attracted to your company. You need to be flexible in defining the salary for a software programmer.
There are many variables. Salary depends on the actual job and not just the experience.
Before you "commence operations" you will need to do a lot more groundwork
it depends on the company that you'll work for but basically IT salary ranges from 7000 qatar riyals to 14 qatar riyals, thats why bid well ok. dnt just after the salary but the company profile itself coz definitely good company doesnt give crap salary.
