I'm a Sinagporean and was recently offered a job in Qatar as a Contracts Manager.

Overseas Allowance: QAR7,600

TOTAL PACKAGE per month: QAR20,300

Does not include any bonus.

Accomodation: Provided by company. Fully furnished on shared basis.
The Company will also bear utility charges (for water, gas and electricity only) based on actual consumption not exceeding QAR400 per month.

Include a company car on shared basis for the purposes of local transportation (fuel included)

One-time settling-in allowance of QAR5,000

18 working days of annual leave and 12 working days of Home Leave per annum

Is the above offer attractive? Worthwhile to relocate to QATAR??

Thanks.

I am single. Thus the only difference that I can think of is that I need to leave behind my family and friends. As for the pay, as a whole package, it is almost double my current pay. In addition, they are offering me a senior position, i.e. Contracts Mgr which seems to be a good career progression for me.

Just wanna know if their offer is reasonable.

Thanks..

Don't come here for that. I was in Singapore for 15 years before moving here 3 years ago. I am in the sane trade.
