Please help me. I have offered job in Qatar Airways for manager grade with salary of 30k QR, with housing and car, and with flight home. is this a good offer.
Just try to see the accomodation before (villa compound or else?) and the car. But if you go for a Manager position, I guess both of them should be good.
If QR 30K is basic salary (presuming it's monthly), it looks decent. But if that includes transport, utilities and housing allowances (they have two types of housing allowances - will you receive both, or will they arrange you a house?), then try to negotiate with a higher basic salary.
P.S.: That also depends on what you are earning now as well.
Sorry but this is really lousy for a Manager grade. Airline industry is generally poor. Go for oil industry - I have good contacts there if you are interested. Incidentally, what exactly are you a 'Manager' of ?
Be prepared to pay anything from 8-15K for a decent house depending where u are. but if the company provides u with housing then its definately a good offer. also to consider is if u have any children, you would have to consider schooling as well. keep that in mind.
