QP IT interview
HI ALL,
I am currently working in USA and an indian national. I was interviewed ( telephone) by QP IT management for a sr system engineer position. They told they will get back in 2 weeks. what is the normal wait time based on the IT dept response time? Does anyone know if they have on going recruitment going for IT dept? How is IT dept there and what is the staff streangth?
what is typical grade they offer..

It is the initial interview done by the Recruiting Dept. After that your interview report will be forwarded to the HR Department. Sometimes if needed they may call you here in Qatar for the site interview. It may take 1-2 months to finalise all this process. If you have any condacts in the QP IT you can call him to push the paper. Regarding the strength of the IT department almost 300 people are there in the department and you will feel like a small fish in a big pond. Payment and grade will be best in the region and you need to negotiate better when discussing with the HR Department
Qp takes time. If your two weeks is up inquire with the person that did he interview not the recruiter.
