QP offer, grade 16, package ok?

Read through the forum and need some input for my QP offer:

- grade 16
- commercial role
- basic range: 21-23k
- wia: 3k
- housing: 14k, for family status. how much if single? my wife and kids may not join
- transport: 2k
- furniture: 55k
- car: 5x basic
- tickets, bonus, yes, but how much in $ terms?

It seems that basic range is at low end for grade 16. I am British and have 8 years work experience, most recently with top 5 oil major.

How will the onsite interview be like? I know, medical, department, HR meetings, but is it another selection phase or to convince candidate to join.

I read some mixed stories about employee morale and corporate climate?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The offer is low , my broinlaw was in same grade and left , he was drawing QAR 52,000 Net salary per month in grade 16 and was an asian nationality with age at 47 .

You can only consider Basic +HRA +other allowance =NET Salary per month , furniture is one time in every 3 years . You get HRA only when family join , till then you do not get HRA my dear friend . You may be housed in QP accomodation in Doha city , furnished . RP Visa takes 2 months here , so 2 months you will be single here .

Compared to Aramco , QP is more open and Aramco has all procedures in place , QP it is still in maturity stage .

Qatar as country is more better than Saudi , so finally your choice .

the total salary is about 7000 pounds.

the furniture is about 9000 pounds

you have to negociate the medical insurance for you and your family + the scholarship fees for your kids.

and it will be the perfect contract ;)

It's OK. But with your experience is it more than you're making now? And I don't see school fees. Without that it becomes pretty bad pretty fast. You certainly would want to tell your employer your family is joining you. If they wish to spend a good deal of time back in the UK that's your business.
