"Hosing" while a typo is pretty accurate description of what they are offering for housing. You'll need more for decent standard of living.

money wise from what your current gross is x2 +..

Don't let the amount sway you..think about family separation, schools cost..

though here u get good paid, but at the same time, you will have to spend a lot specially when living here along with family. so at the end, you will save nothing or a small money. so better to stay there in india

NO WAY ITS RUBBISH!!! re negotiate schooling for a high school kid cost around 40,000-55,000 qr per year....not inc books, transport, registration fees, etc houses cost around 10,000 pcm for a 2/3 bd ff & then u need to consider relocation costs etc......of course if u held a british passport u would get double that!!!! misconception here is british are better trained.........NOT TRUE ( im british & know many Indians who are much better trained than their Europen counterparts )good luck with the re-negotiation

Savings are good here. Leave on a good note with an option to return. You'll be frustrated with the professionalism here. If you survive for a year, then fine.

More than 4 years in the gulf then you won't get a job back in india - experience here does not count. Just make money. Period.

For a start, this is good when compared with your experience. You will be paid more if you are lucky enough to be selected by Oil companies. Some companies do offer more based on your performance appraisal yearly.

Every body looks for a better package. As one member pointed out..this is double of what you get now in India. You can have a good life with a decent accommodation for this package!

it depends on the company. 16 years experience in electrical is somehow not enough taking into consideration you will handle the whole MEP. But again, if there is an offer already, it means they interviewed you already.

IMHO, offer is good.

That's a good package... You could save around 12-15k from that.. (in general... depends on your lifestyle.)...

If you have a good position & career there.... don't leave it... bcos.. you dont have career here, it's just money.
