Salaries

Have had an offer as a senior investment analyst for a investment house. What sort of salary and benefits should I expect?

Should I expect a car and apartment?

Does being single make any difference?

Thanks

It is all subjective..

Don't look at what others are earning, but what you are comfortable with..

If the salary and benefits being offered are above what you curently have and you feel that it affords you the possibility of saving a reasonable amount... Then go for it..

u ppl r insane.. hey grab tht job!! Qatar have a great market value.. Go 4 it!! As u r single nd if you go 4 even a single studio flat it wont cost more than 4000 Qr thats the maximum and you can rent a 4X4 car or premium cars for about 3000-4000 Qr else you buy a car of your own, second hand car which costs 60000 to 70000 u can get bmw 3 series nissan armada, hummer h3 and all and for that amount you can get loan. nd monthly installment will cum upto 2000 to 3000!!

yes it is low. I had not read your post before posting mine. All i am saying is that the salaries in investment banking can be insane. Yes, it has been rocking last couple of years but still they are better pay masters.

So you saying 25,000 is highballing them? haha!

Thats without a car or apartment.

I had a similar offer in Abu Dhabi, about a year ago, that came to about 28,000 with a Car and Apartment. That's why I feel 25,000 is low.

Thanks for your help

It all depends whether you will be carrying any sales or target. Qatar is one country you can survive in a one-bedroom but without a car, no way and Cars are cheap BTW.

Invest houses can pay anything if they are convinced of the value you bring to the table. I am not sure of ballparks here but dont worry about high balling them during negotiations.

Would you know what an investment analyst with 5 years experiance (So a Senior Analyst) should expect to get?

Would 25,000 without an appartment or car be right?

Do you need a Car in Qatar?

Thanks Again

Hi Londoner78, you can expect everything. But most of the packages are specific to organizations so whether car or housing, depends what is the company name.

I would suggest translate all the goodies to money and then manage. Keep in mind an expense of 6000-9000 for house and 2000-3000 for car.

Yes if you are single some companies reduce the benefits again depends on company policies.
