They are offering salary 8000 QR..
They are not offering me food+accommodation+transport.
I am a Bachelor and do not have any habit and have normal life style.

It all depends on your life style.

If you can live and share accomodation with 3-4 others, you may only have to pay about qr500 -800

Food about QR 20 per day x 30 = QR 600

Misc food QR 400

Telephone QR 50

Transport QR 200

total about QR 2000

So you can actually save QR 6000

But if u need to live comfortably ... it is not enough. some accomodation alone QR 8000 for one bedroom apartment fully furnished.

so evaluate and assess. Think before you decide. But if you are still young and like adventure, give a try. Apart from the summer heat, it is a peaceful place to live.

i really wonder why and how this country had got different standards...particularly when it comes to labor? my friend..if you have this survival skills and knowledge in economics... and want to have the adventure here in QATAR..come join us here... life is never fair... feel the heat and the beat. it all depends on your lifestyle with such amount of pay that you get here.. costs of living here is up to neck! you've got to make a good research. it all depends on you how things go well either at your place or to someone's place... it's all your choice my friend.

Hi,

8000QR is not a good deal. Housing is low at the moment, so if you've made your decision then find a house or apartment to rent as soon as you can. It's been predicted that housing will increase in September and will keep increasing. You won't have much to save since you'll be paying your rent...buying your necessities (ex. groceries, clothes etc.)

I wouldn't go for that salary, however it really depends on your qualifications. If you think your qualification can get you a better chance at some other job, with a higher pay...then look around and ask. It won't hurt.

All the best. Hope this helps.

base on my experience 8000QR is okay..u canfind a room for a 2000QR a month, room sharing can cost you half.food allowance defends on your eating habits.500 to 700QR a month its okay.but if you will take public transport going to work, its very time consuming.it will take a hell out of you.better askfor a free transport.good luck....welcome to qatar.....

i think 8000 is enough, as you said you are single you can rent single room in sharing accommodation, transportation is not exp.

Good luck

How you guys ask others on how much you can SAVE when you are out of your country?

And why you guys always talk of SAVING 1st rather settling in your Life & career.

I pity...

Hard to answer because 8000 QAR is just for Housing only. If you got offer 5000 QAR plus housing take it if not I have nothing to say you.
