Some Filipinos benefited from recession

I have to repost this since the previous one is blocked by the moderator for reason beyond my knowledge.

I want to tell you the Ironic Effect of Recession:

Many of us aware the bad effect of recession but I am one of many Filipinos benefited the Economic depression the globe is facing today. How?

1. I just landed a new job that guarantees a salary 5-times than my previous package.

2. The positions (3 vacant positions) were supposedly open to westerns, but the employer decided to hire Filipinos (me and 2 others) instead to save some money. They believe that Filipinos has the capacity to handle the job very well.

3. Our Western Employer told us that he likes Filipinos because they are not overstating their CVs, and often could offer services more impressive than what is written in their CVs. They said that we are very presentable and neat in making reports and worksheets.

4. They're also very honest to admit that Filipinos are NOT excellent English SPEAKERS unlike other nationalities but very keen when it comes to Technical WRITING. After all, what they want is somebody who knows how to WRITE (NOT to SPEAK) - as they have been wronged by Fluent English Speakers who have difficulties in making correspondences. I have no intention to offend other nationalities of course.

I just want to share this to all Filipinos especially to those who has lost their job in order to inspire them. Don't lose hope.
