Working Hours
Hi,
COuld someone please let me know, the standard working hours in the Q-group of companies is 8 hours + a lunch hour (for total of 9 hours) or 8 hours inclusive of a lunch hour? For example, you show up at 6:30 and stay till 2:30 including having taken a one hour lunch break?
I ask because I might be getting an offer, and this is one of the factors that I'd like to include in my evaluation (the total working hours).
Yes, I will get this info in my offer, but I'd like to learn about this ahead of time.

we are working from 7:30 to 1:45, sun-thurs...no lunchbreak...but we can eat anytime but not anywhere...
Does Q-group includes ministries and authorities? or purely Oil & Gas Companies?
excluding of break fast (30 min)and LUNCH (HOUR) ... Just working 8 hours
As I am told, QG working hours are 7.30 AM to 3.30 PM with half hour lunch break... both in Doha and Ras Laffan...

there are so many Q companies out here. Which one are you referring to? Some have longer working hours than others

it was the demand of the work that we had to sit for long sometimes...there wasn't any way to complain to others..WORK IS WORK..right?
and how loyal ur company were to pay you for the extra hrs worked ? :(
Oh yeah rizk..really...we used to work for 10hrs sometimes daily...:((

When i was working before, my office timings were excluding of LUNCH HOUR..:(
tats my office timings too...
Its inclusive of lunch hour.
