Hey!

I am a Planning engineer, Living in Madinat Khalifa. It's been around half a year I am living in Qatar and have little or no social life!

I aint familiar with Arabic language too.... So, I would like to know whther there are any beautiful, young, educated Arabic fellows who'd like to take me into their social gathering so not only could I enjoy my time with them but also learn this beautiful language of theirs.

I am not an extrovert and mostly enjoy my time with less or no company. I am less loud like girls and i like to be at calm and relaxed places and enjoy with peace!

Cheers :)

Talk to your workmates, ask one or two out for coffee after jumah(wherever they are from). Often, guys meet after jumah for coffee and if you can get in with one, you might meet others among the group to be friends with. Don't assume anything about Qatari's. They are just regular people and they are friendly and will be happy to socialize with you if you are a polite person.

Just be friendly and you will make friends. Don't unthinkingly dismiss polite invitations, because that is how I have met some of the nicest people.

I write this assuming you are male. If you are female. . . don't be friendly to strange men at work. Not a good idea.

All of you guys... Thanks for sensible and mature responses. I agree, may be QL or Internet, so to say, is not a place to make friendships. I will try finding good friends out there :)

you won't be able to learn the language from only "enjoying your time" with beautiful arabic fellows occasionally.. I have been "enjoying my time" with one beautiful arabic fellow for the last 5 year... and only now I can keep short simple conversation in arabic.. and hey, I have been listening to him basically 24/7, days and nights.. good luck with that

You (deleted by mod). Can't you read properly? I never used the word 'she' it can be a guy or a girl, as I am not intending for dating. Secondly, beautiful doesn't always refer to people who look good. Beauty lies in thoughts, intelligence, maturity as well. By beautiful, I mean nature wise.

(comment deleted by mod). Mind you, There are many wise and mature people out there as well.

I am sorry if someone finds my answer unmannered but that's the way you respond to (deleted by mod)

Regards,

SHAHWANI

That I would've done long back if I wanted to but sitting at one place and chatting is no socializing ... I make to blend in in the culture and atmosphere of this country! For that, one has to GO OUT and interact with people :)
