Anyone at Rydges Plaza ?
Hi,
New to Doha and the whole Gulf region (arrived saturday 13th Jan), I am staying now for 3 weeks at the Rydges Plaza Hotel in Doha (this is until I find a cheap place to rent), is anyone staying at the same hotel? I'd be great if I could make some friends there ;)

both my babies and myself have just gotten out of the cold circle 2 days back, its takes 10 days to recover.

actually for all to know I now have an as*hole roommate who is also my boss. So I do not stay home any longer than to sleep and at work I stay out of the office and therefore away from my computer all day. This limits my internet time to new lows. In addition I have had a wicked nasty cold for 3 days that has had me in a ball asleep when I am not at work.
As for get togethers I was thinking we try something for dinner this week a bit earlier than usual and then a bar.
Perhaps Fuddruckers for dinner, lets say at 7 PM. I desperately need a chocolate malt, and I can introduce it those of you ignorant to the bliss of malt. After dinner we shall try to hit Rydges up as I have not made an appearnace there since the new year (wayyyyy toooo much to drink).

Where is he anyway? usually i wake up and read his commentary at this forum :} interesting! He usually arrange things too meet for drinks..keep online Bennis and you will find Ql gather together at week end..
