whenever i see a beautiful arab men and women i feel so envy with them... even the kids... their skin are so flawless and their face are all so perfect. what a lovely creature :)
i wonder why they are so beautiful .....and i hope their characters are also beautiful.
I once dated a girl who was average looking (was fresh in the dating arena at that time). I once said to her that she is very beautiful. She said to me people only see the outer beauty no one sees the inner beauty.
Same is the case with everyone here. Here people are judged on the basis of their skin complexion.
you are correct... i just flew to dubai yesterday and this bi*cth have Mahammad ban...but you are wrong to ask repeir my head... she is the one repeiring all the time...LOL!!! supernurse and apple is the same...LOL!!! i am just telling her when people say Arab are beautiful she shoud agree because they are and she has to be bi*tchy saying wait when you lift the veil...
"Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder" no doubt that the Arabs are beautifull but the reall beauty is the internal beauty, the beauty of the behaviour, the beauty of the wy you treat to the non Arabs. If all the Arabs do have the thinking that they treat others as they wanna to be treated then it is needless to say that the there is no one beautifull but the Arabs.
mmm maybe but wait till they lift the veil...not all are a sight for sore eyes let me tell you.......
ha ha APPLE why you always bit*chy and jelous??? you think you beautiful??? it is clear that Arab people are beautiful and it is very true so why you object???LOL!!!even you repeir you nose and boobs plus you actually FFFAAATTT you cannot be look like them...LOL!!!...MKheir...
I've always wondered why my skin is too soft as a man! It is the first time I feel relieved to hear your feedback!
I've always wondered why my eyes and my look are so soft and kind. I thought I cannot survive surrounded by too aggressive people. Again, it is the first time i feel there are people who appreciate the kind of peace I am in.
Thanks you for the nice comments. I am planning to move to Qatar this September and I hope to find the beauty of soul that is the essence of every human...........
Now I can see why there are many romantic & emotional words in the Arabic language. They need the words to express such beautiful ideas as dignity, love, sacrifice, respect. English just doesn't have enough words. We have only one word for LOVE whereas Arabic has many words (divine Love, brotherly/sisterly love, husband/wife love, erotic love, etc.)
your poem is powerful as it allows the children's beauty to gaze beyond the constructed false boundaries or borders and into 'common skies'........gorgeous metaphorical illusions you have conjured and inshyallah the dreams held by older generations too often betrayed will be given new shape in the beauty of the children’s hands............
The light that illuminates the captivating Arabian eyes of the beloved children - contoured by the magic, mystery and fragrance of centuries unborn- is borrowed from another sky............
personally the rhythmic waves of the lovely females gliding effortlessly through plasticised shopping malls of City Centre, Landmark, Villagio, Hyatt Plaza- as though they are rehearsing their parts in Truman show-a sea of fragmented silhouetted seduction is so lyrical - yet the breeze, the ‘nasim’, that ripples the ‘abaya’ so beautifully here in Doha turns into a rather stronger wind with less beautifying consequences in the broader Arab world..
but on a lighter note, there is so much to celebrate in the Arabian vision and as a Westerner trespassing on your lime-stoned whitewashed pearling terrain stretching like a white conjuring glove to the Arabian Sea it is humbling to admire your multifaceted strengths as Voltaire and Lessing once had......
and humbly to share your optimism for the children’s future.
the spontaneous cross cultural laughter and friendships you see blossoming among the children at the schools in Doha and in those crazy fun centres in the malls – is really encouraging sign that they will build bridges of humanity – al joussour - that other generations tore down.
The only place I found them a bit irritating was in the Clubs, maybe they get so harassed that they have to behave like that..Anyway Ganda Beauty is what you eyes sees, True Beauty is what ones hearts see..
The most interesting thing I like about the Flipina ppl is that they have the looks as well as the manner.. we brits are taught manners, but seeing a lot of phils here makes me very happeeeeee
WOW.. I can't believe that what I said made you react like that. I just shared my daily experince with you. But after sooo many comments on how attractive arab men are I couldn't resist :p
There is a joke.... No Offence to anyone or anbody.. It goes like this "What is most dangerous Race".. The answer should be motor racing.. But one not so clever chap gets up and says.. A### yes u guessed. May be it is the beauty that makes them so dangerous?
i feel like most of the answerers are saying nice things because they are in an arabic country i wonder if they would stick to their opinions after they leave...
I agree with Thexonic in some part, yes most of them are beautiful in appearent only but not with their attitude and egoism problem, many time I found their negative side and is not that pretty.
All people from different country are beautiful not just Arab.
Thanks, now I know why I am stared at all the time and even smiled at ;) And why all the ladies at the office are in love with me LOL. They make it so obvious sometimes that its embarrassing. But I thank God for giving me a beautiful exterior, and pray that He gives me a beautiful interior as well.
they are beautiful physically...but what about their cattitude, their character? i don't they think they do have a perfect attitude as well because nobody's perfect
I can echo Supernurse's comments. When the abaya is lifted up, "everything is not a sight for sore eyes".
dw worked as a nurse in a plastic surgery clinic in Doha for a few months. Many of the clients (patients?) were Qatari ladies. dw saw not only the abaya come off but everything else. The stories she could tell about what she saw.
For the most part, the abaya & hijab enhances their beauty. It makes them seductive and secretive.
even those who dont look good at all, they think that they are the most beautiful ones.
Perhaps, this could also be the result of all the plastic surgery hahaha :P.
Don't look at the outer beauty, look at them from the inside.

You know, that you are screwed, when ur phone rings, while you sneak into your own house like a thief and your wife is asleep at 3 am in the morning... Perhaps that would be the last time you enter your own house lol.
I agree with you, Ganda! I also have a couple of Arab friends - Qataris, Egyptians, Lebanese, Syrians, etc., and indeed, they are really beautiful people - both inside and out. I guess I'm just lucky to have friends such as them. ;)
so true . arab womens are so beautiful, their looks are so different and one of a kind especialy qatari women. just cant get eyes off from them. shame that dont have any arab female or male friend.
While we're on the topic....I like the hijab when the black clothe comes up from the mouth area and leaves the eyes standing out. That's quite beautiful looking. It enhances the women's beautiful eyes.
On that note, I think I'm going to take a shower. Heehee. My old roomy and I used to say we'd happily join a hareem of a rich Arab. We'd get to drink coffee and read Cosmo all day. And shop. lol.
They seem to have that genetic make up of an athletic physique too.. in general. Ohhhhh, and one of the most stunning men I have ever seen had Arabic colouring and turquoise blue eyes. I think he may have been Jordanian(?)
houseboy i dont want to be mean, but how many times u have to follow me.... please post ur ads on the classified and stop sending me private message regarding this please

Abayas and thobs just accent the Arab beauty.

let us celebrate their beauty
All the best
decelerated trespasser
Indeed they are beautiful, may god make us see others as they are and accept them the way they are.....
Arab Eyes
(rework of an earlier poem)
My children both have Arab eyes
Say min fadlak and tekrum
They know of places far and wide
And politics broad spectrum
My children both have Arab eyes
That seek across false borders
That question textbooks’ specious lies
And wonder at world order
My children both have Arab eyes
That cry with childhood’s sorrows
They gaze with hope at common skies
And conjure fair tomorrows
.
.
(“Min fadlak” and “tekrum” mean “please” and “you’re welcome” in Arabic…and just fyi… “thank you” is “shukran”)
The only place I found them a bit irritating was in the Clubs, maybe they get so harassed that they have to behave like that..Anyway Ganda Beauty is what you eyes sees, True Beauty is what ones hearts see..

True about the beauty bit..I wish that Arabs (which mean arogant) were also humble and thanked the Lord for their gift he has given them.

That is funny! ROFLMA! LOL
You are right, some of them are cool, superbly educated, civilized and full of compassion, but others seem to be reincarnated from the pits of hell!!
Just like any other civilization in the world.
As Ben Franklin said:
In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom, in water there is bacteria.
we can't deny that god has given them beauty mashallah but everyone is beautiful in their own light..
No use of being beautiful on the exterior and have an ugly personality deep down inside
More enticing in Saudi? I can't wait. But I'll miss all those Filipinas prancing about with long hair and curves to match.
Subahanallah..........
Beauty of the curves,
sharpness of the nose,
talking eyes,
fresh purest skin.......
Allah u Akbar.....
He is an ARTIST.
There are more enticing eyes in Saudi..
Thanks for such a nice post, although I probably don't look like your typical Qatari :P

life's too short so make the most of it, you only live but once.......
Maybe because they protect themselves from the harsh environment from which they live (and have a stress free life, no work, all play).
hope beautiful inside and outside,
I'll miss all the Qatari women and their enticing eyes when I go to KSA. I doubt anything is remotely close to seductive.
I'm enjoying them as long as they last!
glad u think that :)
thx

lol thanks Ghada,
By the way,
Most beautiful = Most stuck up / show off.

Perhaps, this could also be the result of all the plastic surgery hahaha :P.
