Panctuality is a Good thing, personally when there is an important meeting i am punctual, when not, it depends on the mood and on the person i am gonna meet.

and we dont forget accidents, hahaha specially when it is your first meeting with somebody you like, potential lover oppsi

Why do you worry about your mate going on a date ?

Who is she seeing ?

We all know what traffic is like here, so that can be planned for. Accidents, same thing, but somewhat excusable. If a person is sometimes late because of special circumstances, the person can call and inform those waiting. Those who are habitually late, are just rude and have, obviously, very little sense of responsibility and are most probably rather selfish.

As per the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) he said:

"The signs of a hypocrite are three:

1. Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.

2. Whenever he promises, he always breaks it (his promise ).

3. If you trust him, he proves to be dishonest. (If you keep something as a trust with him, he will not return it.)"

So being punctual is something that all should be. For me i am always punctual unless there are things that are out of my hand and cannot control which causes me to be late.

It could be concluded that we should carry on following our own instincts as per our traits ..

Worms reach too early , birds on time, mice after everybody is in and owls when it is time for tea /coffee / biscuit break ..

no Eagley iam not the boss but ppl who are punctual in office timings are they as well punctual in doing the there job without wasting time so whats the use only punctual in coming to office

When they say 'early bird catches the worm' ..

in that case the punctual 'worm' who came out a little earlier than other worms had to pay with 'her' life ..

So at times punctuality could be dangerous as well ..

Unforseeable circumstances by their very definition are the ones which are not able to be foreseen or known beforehand. Say for example a fire enroute or a flash strike or an accident causing trafiic jam/ diversion etc etc...how could someone forsee such incidents and factor them into the time beforehand.

By mohdata• 30 Sep 2012 11:44

lol cover to cover are you conveying how bored you were back then?..and don't bother checking; the latest marhaba will say the same..because the latest Qatar is still the same..laid back, chilled out and sleepy as a sloth..anyways..let's not hijack the thread..they'll punctually shoot us down for the offence:-)

MM, excuses, nothing more than that.

Sure, there may be unforseable circumstances, but that can be considered beforehand. Everybody CAN be punctual, IF they WANT to.

Am very punctual but start learning how to not b punctual as no one respects time. but i do know many people respect time and b more than punctual and comes before time with half to one hour early when they have an interview lol. so i think punctuality depends on many facts.

Seriously I do do try hard to be on time, specially after a good telling off I got from a former boss of how a good Muslim would be one who is punctual. But somehow something happens, we underestimate the traffic or over estimate our ability to reach a place faster, and we end up reaching our appointments and destinations later than we imagined. :(

It is offensive to ask Indians this question
