Just wondering if anyone can recommend any reasonably priced restaurants to eat out at? I'm looking at hotel restaurants where you can purchase alcohol.
if you wont mind, which range of budget are you exactly looking for? there are like more than 10 restaurants in ramada to choose from. it depends on the cuisine you want. prices in the menu ranges from QR60 - QR200. they serve alcohol there too.
went to Sakura last night. my tastebuds are so happy. yummy! :D
hi,if you like arabic mezze and good kebabs try Al-Shami restaurant,it is opposite ToysRus before la Sigal hotel.I went there with my friends, took my parents there when they came for a visit to introduce them to Arabic cousine.Good value for money, casual dining, shisha, you might see lots of families there on week ends and it seems more expats discovering it day by day.Lamb shops worth trying as well.
that would be an option, i'm not a great cook, but i'm sure i'll earn extra brownie points if i cook her a meal! Maybe that will be my next thread. 'how to cook a good meal'.. he he.
I'll check out the rydges and ramada - those were the two i was looking at initially, but it's been a while since i hit the hotel restaurants with a lady, and thought i'd do some research.
ramada is fine. price is reasonable and there are many restaurants to choose from. check it out first so you'll you know the price range. you can see all their menu books at the restaurant lobby. in ramada, i like sakura.
in rydges, i like their steak!
hmmm... seems like il be absent in QL tonight. il go japanese :D

dragonfly, ritz, sheraton or marriot will be expensive...
Hotels usually will be more expensive than restaurants around the town.
But maybe rydges is ok...
