Is it ok to puke in a hotel vase?

Since alcohol is only available at top hotels here, how could one justify his/her alcohol intake? In Europe for example, seeing someone stagging out of a club, crawling on the streets are pretty normal sight. So, what would you do, if you are sitting through brunch at a top hotel and see some roudy group (of adults and not highschool kids) and one started puking in the vase, should the hotel ask them to leave? Its very interesting how one handles their alcohol intake but also very pathetic that at a mature age you allow yourself to act like a fool.

Perhaps the heat, work stress is too hard for them to comprehend but does that allow you to act like highschool kids in public?

I bet there are more stories that perhaps you all want to share. What I fail to understand is that mature men would hang out with young kids and started drinking at brunches and then throwing up in public!

Is it ok to puke in a hotel vase? What a silly question, what do your own moral and ethical standards tell you? Why do you feel the need to ask the world this question?, if it offended (I am assuming you found it offensive because you think the individual concerned is pathetic) you so much why didn't you complain to the hotel management at the time it happened, I certainly would have done had I been in this situation, but maybe you didn't want to because you where in fear of repercussions from this Larger Lout?

You contradict yourself and I don't really understand what points you are trying to raise. You said "roudy group (of adults and not highschool kids)" then you rambled on/conjectured some more and then closed by saying "What I fail to understand is that mature men would hang out with young kids and started drinking at brunches and then throwing up in public!" this does not make sense, what exactly are you saying? Have you seen multiple instances of people barfing into hotel vases?

If you don't understand why a person gets so drunk that he makes a fool of himself or has a love affair or drives cars too fast, listens to music way too loud, eats too much, smokes hash or any other multitude of sins then I suggest you get out from behind your keyboard and take a look around you at the real world. I'm not saying any of it is correct, but it's what happens and most of it probably seemed like a good idea at the time.

There are worse things in life to witness, like people being beat up with baseball bats at football matches, I've seen this but hey I'm from Europe where we all stagger round and crawl on the floor because we are too drunk.

The guy barfing in the vase was wrong, he probably does not even remember it, and would likely feel like a fool if somebody made him aware of what he's done. He's not perfect, neither am I (but I'm European after all), and you are certainly not as can be seen by your spelling mistakes and poor grammar.

You also don't have seem to have considered that he may have been "spiked" with drugs or drinks, or been on medication that didn't agree.

In answer to your last remark about sharing stories instead of us giving you our insights, why don't you drink a bottle of Vodka or whatever your preferred beverage is and go find out for yourself what it's like, but then again you strike me as the kind of person that has probably never had a drink? I have, and I've thrown up in public, not something I am proud about but then again s**t happens.

The bottom line as far as I see it is, that the hotel are at blame because they where not in control of the situation and allowed it to get out of hand. He was either too drunk to enter the hotel, or they served him too much (discounting the fact he may have been ill, spiked etc)

One last point, QDC sell booze which you can drink at home so long as you have a permit, so he may have been plastered by the time he got to the hotel (you said only top hotels sell alcohol)

Makes tidying up easy.....just dump the vase. Now if it had been on the floor or table, would have be darned difficult to clean up. Very practical suggestion.

Hmmm.... puking in a vase as compared to having to run to the use the toilet... brilliant indeed.. Wonder whether I thought of it... Will never know due to those darn blackouts..

The kiddy pool at hotels is meant for peeing, pooing, and puking.... that is why it is always seperate from the other pools.... no other reason.

Thanks for enlightening me. I always used to run to a washroom if i had to throw up, now can use the vases in the lobby. How brilliant and convenient :). Not a fair sight am sure, but it is better than someone throwing up on a person.

I think it is okay to puke in a vase, or in the elevator, or in the sinks, or in someone elses glass or on the dancefloor, or in a taxi, or in a girls purse, on is a guys hat, or in a waiter's shoe. ALL of these places are okay. It is even okay to pee in these places.

BUT, you cannot do a poo in these places... that is haram.

I've only had to throw up after drinking twice. Both times I had blackouts, although bits and pieces were still there in the memory and those were not pretty......

The food in Qatar is bad. I drank a whole bottle of Jack Daniels and everything was fine. When I ate a yoghurt, I threw up.
